Another great vocal trance song from Armin. He is one of my favorite artists when it comes to trance music. Jaren's vocals are just amazing in this song...I am not sure if the piano can do justice to her voice...but I have tried.
Made this cover as close to the original as possible. Changed the backing structure a bit and added my own variations in the Synth. Used a normal piano patch for the lead and gave it a bit of an ambient sound. This is my longest cover to date...all 8 minutes of the track in full glory. Spent an awful lot of time putting the individual tracks and then mixing and mastering...went insane..literally gave up on this song for sometime before coming back to working on it....well I love the end result :)!!
As always please leave your feedback...on the song, video and the mix...makes me better learning from a lot of more experienced folks out there.
DAW - FL studio (still my fav for its user friendly interface..but im slowly moving to Ableton)
Input - M-audio Oxygen 49
Patches/effects - used tons in this song
Mixing/mastering - used the FL mixer for mixdown and then used my new favorite tool.. Ableton Live for Mastering
Instruments - everything you hear...pay attention...there are lots of them :)!

@unrescued hey there thanks for the comment...mostly use massive, make my own patches using Styrus in FL and also CWalks Rapture and then add effects to them to make the sound I want hope this helps.

Hey great song. I am very impressed with your mastering. So much so that I am currently downloading Ableton Live. What I really wanted to ask is what are your main choice for VSTs? I generally find myself using z3ta+, Massive, Albino 3, and Sylenth, but I could really use some additional ones. Any suggests would be appreciated.
