    We had multiple sets this past winter and just flip floped them all over the site installing a ton of manholes then piped them all together with 60" rcp , it's a great system on the sand and decent soil as soon as you get into rocks with it they become a nightmare lol good work brother IUOE

      Sounds like a good time. Yea they are no good in rock unless you have the holes drilled first for the poles.

      @@TheLeverMonkey cool think you'll have any of removing it I've got one vid on my channel of removing a panel trying to yank one out they r a pain in the ass

    • @TheLeverMonkey
      @TheLeverMonkey  Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately no. I was just there for the dig and install. The removal can be done by just about any operator can remove the shoring. This year we picked up more work that we have personnel for. So I am going where I am needed most. It is nice to be in this place but sucks at the same time.

    Hi from the uk think I'm gonna have to move to the USA over here in the uk the health and safety has gone crazy for the dig your doing we would have to have several fences around the dig our machines would have to have more flashing lights than a 70s disco plus the paperwork we'd have to read and sign it's ridiculous over here I'm an operator with 45 years experience yet I'm treated like a 2year old ,watched some of your videos where your digging in highways what an eye-opener and refreshing change jeasus christ over here we would hardly be able the slew the machine due to fences or some do gooder moaning that you started your machine at 7 59 am not 8am as stated in planning permission it's joke over here mate keep them videos coming, oh I'm driving a Case 130 e series with an engcon hitch ,machine is garbage volvo miles better volvo was my previous machine engcon hitch is awesome 👌 👍

      Things here are moving in the same direction. Some company's/contractors are pushing the limit of safety to the point that we hardly get to do any work. I was recently on a job that required a safety tag that had to be filled out every day before we could use the latter. we had to fence in our ditch inside our fenced in area that only we could go in. It gust make no since.
      So I feel your pain.

      Be honest about what you know. Learn from tha old guys by watching what they do. And for god's sake stay off your phone. Take any task they give you and do it to the best of your ability. And if you ever have a question Ask, ask someone that will make the least fun of you.

    Alright you seem to operate every brand out there and all I’ve ever got to operate is CAT because that’s all my company would buy, in your opinion what is the best brand of hoe out there? I’m retired now after 40+ years operating heavy equipment mostly D10 dozers but I want to buy a 8 ton mini X for my farm so what brand would you buy?

    • @TheLeverMonkey
      @TheLeverMonkey  Рік тому +1

      Not a CASE first off. The CAT 308 is a nice rig. The 209 Takeuchi is a nice smooth rig. The 1140s and 2150 are a bit jerky. haven't run many more of the minys.

      Cat 308 is great, if you want something that's probably a little cheaper the Yanmar Vio80 is a fantastic machine. Really smooth, a little more bare bones on features than the newer Cats. They're very popular up here in Seattle.
