As a parent I understand, any loving parent would, your strongest instinct for your child is to protect. Having said that to me Shaun Porter was going to get Stopped, and beaten up in that round. I have to comment on Kenny's premature stoppage...it was ridiculous...I have trained fighters and been in the ring as a fighter and im also a father...Kenny thinks he knows everything about his son but he doesn't at all, that fight should have continued, porter was doing great, he wasn't hurt at all, just 2 back to back knockdown in the later rounds and that was nothing, fury was down twice in the same round in the wilder trilogy fight and still came back to win, and many other fighters have been thru worse situations in the ring and still came back to win at the end of the fight....this is boxing and its a physical combat sport Kenny, anything can happen at any time to change the outcome of the fight but your son was doing great the whole time until you stopped it...I totally disagree with your judgment of him...he dominated most of the rounds and put all the pressure on Crawford...Shawn needs to put his feet on the ground and start telling his pops how he really feels...he doesn't decide your destiny, you do...he is not on the big stage, you are!!!! Win, lose or draw, you make that decision for yourself bro..you did great and your father needs some serious life and boxing coaching lessons
"Put all the pressure on crawford" yh you don't take notes, Crawford landed so many power shots in that fight, shawn was just outworking him and they gave him rounds for that, then it clicked to crawford that he needs to be more active he upped the tempo and Porter couldn't respond.

Love me some Kenny. Reminds me of Floyd, Sr; Joe Jackson; Richard Williams; and Tiger’s dad. Overcame and led his child to success. I’m throwing in the towel too. “Son, take this $4mm and get out with your scruples and work fights from a chair at ringside the rest of your life! And for the first and last time let’s smoke one to your success!”
Radio Rahim got some upgraded threads! The come up is real!!
KP is super solid. straight shooter.
Class content Raheem
This was an unexpected announcement from Shawn but he already played his dues so this decision is well understood. He will be missed in the sport.
this two men is a piece of the puzzle as to what family should be ITS SO HARD TO DISLIKE SHAWN AND KENNY
Two classy men, Kenny Porter and Radio Raheem

A good father and a good man and his set his son on the same path 🤙🏾💯
Fatherhood Salute
Kenny and Shawn are very professional under pressure.
What a father
Huge respect for Shawn and Kenny Porter. Both should be very proud of the career Shawn had. He was a warrior and I am really glad to hear Kenny took care of him well and that he is financially set for a long time. That's how it should be if you give your life to this sport.
As a parent I understand, any loving parent would, your strongest instinct for your child is to protect. Having said that to me Shaun Porter was going to get Stopped, and beaten up in that round. Bud is sharp and spiteful once he has an opponent hurt, I feel Kenny looked at it like, ' there's no way we are winning this fight so to avoid him looking up at the lights on his back im gona pull him out'
So we all are going to ignore the "Baddie " in the background following them?! Shout out to Kenny Porter...you can leave Cleveland but I guess Cleveland never leaves you. LOL 😉
Right! I was thinking the same thing. Kenny was ready to get home and slay old girl
Great Father
I Love This Man,,,
All Shawn Porter needs. A different coach come get me Shawn Porter. Have a bless night everyone
Man, much respect to Kenny. If this was normal in our community, we would create jobs and be much further!! Love to Shawn Porter, doesn't duck anyone, tested his powers and determination and he passed with flying colors. Hearts of Warriors!
He should've never stop that fight.
Nice narration
Agreed!
"Put all the pressure on crawford" yh you don't take notes, Crawford landed so many power shots in that fight, shawn was just outworking him and they gave him rounds for that, then it clicked to crawford that he needs to be more active he upped the tempo and Porter couldn't respond.
Agree
Fury Dad wants Tyson to Retire after the first devesating KO's from Wilder he said it himself he didn't want him to continue to take those beatings. Fury may have won but the body always loses in the end. Relax Boxing isn't a game or you don't play boxing it's literally life or death and you don't know the damage until many years later.
What a father wow.
Great father/coach
Man they went out with style & grace like a epic true story biopic film salute to shawm & Kenny Porter they will forever be champions
