Well OG Captain Marvel was a very nice character. Then she was 'with issues' to be... more edgy I guess? It was still like-able version. Only recent iterations were truly bad. So it was gradual decline. Japan pretty much brought her back to original idea - the one that made her popular in the 1st place.
And she's not that overpowered, just about as powerful as any other character in the entire anime. 10/10 variant; Kevin Feige should've watched the anime just to make her character look more likable

The one thing I found strange was the power scaling in this. Sometimes it felt like heroes felt weaker than I would expect and others felt OP, Blackbolt being a prime example. Still like this version of Captain Marvel though, wish she and Kamala had more interactions. In season 2 in particular, since that semi centered around Kamala, you think they would have her idol interact with her at least before leaving with the Inhumans (bet if there was a Season 3, she might have been part of the Future Avengers team)
They were REALLY pushing the Inhumans at this point, so they gave Black Bolt way more attention than the others. It’s wild how much they were jacking off the Inhumans at this point.
Marvel Studios/MCU did Captain Marvel dirty in terms of personality. In her movie, she acts like her powers makes her "unstoppable" and "invincible", while also being this cocky jerk. In this underrated anime, however, they made Captain Marvel have charisma, hope, and wants everyone look up to her thanks to her interest in justice, rather than focusing *too much* on her powers. THIS... is how you make a strong female hero. No wonder why I haven't watched this anime before! I bet it came out long before My Hero did! Imma start watching it since Iron Man and Wolverine got their own animes :P

Marvel Studios/MCU did Captain Marvel dirty in terms of personality. In her movie, she acts like her powers makes her "unstoppable" and "invincible", while also being this cocky jerk. In this underrated anime, however, they made Captain Marvel have charisma, hope, and wants everyone look up to her thanks to her interest in justice, rather than focusing *too much* on her powers. THIS... is how you make a strong female hero.
No wonder why I haven't watched this anime before! I bet it came out long before My Hero did! Imma start watching it since Iron Man and Wolverine got their own animes :P
