Guys it worked! I struggled with toe nail fungus for almost 3 years, tried everything, from foot baths to seeing specialists (where they removed my whole nail only for the fungus to be back a few weeks later) I used the lighter method every week for 3 weeks (so 3 times in total) and now (about 2 months later) I already have half a centimeter of healthy nail growing out. Can't believe I struggled so long when the answer was so simple 😂😭 Thanks for sharing! Btw. I would kneel on the edge of my bed and bend over to the side in a weird way so I can put the lighter under my toe nail. It probably looked psychotic but it was worth it. ALSO I learned that these fungi come from your nutrition. Fix your food, fix your body!
@Druss The Legend yes! Research Candida/Candidiasis/yeast infection. There is a video from Dr. Berg on Candida I recommend giving a shot. The overgrowth of this very natural thing is what causes the fungus and if you change your diet you can also get rid of it and most importantly prevent it from coming back!
Hi Lena, how is your nail now? Is it still growing out clear? It was at 5mm clear, how about now? You said you did it every week for 3 weeks - was that every day each week or just once a week for 3 weeks? Thank you so much for sharing your experience with it :D Danke sehr viel.
@@angelic6876 hi, yes it is still growing out! I did the method again once out of caution but about half of the nail has grown out since I first did it! Really happy with the results so far :)
I once tried using a magnifying glass and I really burned the hell out of my nail and it still survived, I couldn't believe it. I'm pretty sure that if there was ever nuclear war cockroaches and toenail fungus are the only things that will survive
I will try out your remedy I strongly believe it will work ( psychologically I have won half the battle as of this moment), and see v good results soon.
I tried burning them. Didnt work either. Now urea cream 45 percent, cheap stuff. First vaseline on your skin to protect it. Then urea on your nail, bandage. They say leave it for a week but I change it every day, combined with cutting and grinding and an essential oil mix, now finally it fell off, but within 2 weeks of starting this. No pain. Fungal part just falls off. It also worked with tiger balm and a bandage, but that gave me crazy rash and swollen feet. Oh and when your skin itches use iodine. Maybe that also works instead of essential oil. Just use whatever, but the urea gets it off and then you can treat it.
THIS GUY IS GENIUS!!!! been fighting for 20 years!!! laser treatments painful...didn't work (three visits) ,debriefing (cutting nails way back painful...daily treatments w apple cider vinegar ..then I saw this gentleman...I DID NOT use a lighter but bought a magnifier ..every other day I when out in the sun and heated my affected nails (TAKE YOUR TIME) once I felt heat I moved on to the next...Nails look 75% better in 2 weeks..after heat I apply a good quality tea tree oil...LOVE THIS GUY!!! Thank You
Next sunny I will try it for sure...as of now, white vinegar works for a while and also vick's. but the fungus seems to get use to it over some time and it comes back again !

@@allenrluikart2600Good to hear thanks. Damn I have been using a hair dryer but just orderd a magnyfing glass!...also using thyme oil. Too early for me.. but seems like we are on similar methods lol.
I love a straight forward man especially when he’s pissed off about something or a process that shouldn’t piss him off forcing him to maintain decorum. Thank you for your succinct delivery of potent advice. I think use of the magnifying glass is best for me. ❤️
OMG. I was right. I have a bad case of fungus on the thumbnail of my left hand. A while ago I thought the same: kill it with fire. Now when I put my nail right up to my nostrils I can smell the fungus. But when I hold a flame to it for just enough I can actually smell something like burnt hair or similar. I'm going to start doing this and following up with nail creme to keep the nail from cracking.
@@nahtesalinas1917 well that smell is not surprising because hairs and nails are both made of keratin, so you simply smelled burning nail/hair because you burned your nail.
Sunlight is not the same as using a lighter to burn your nail. Sunlight has vitamin D and ultra violet light and also dries the nail. Your doctor was NOT telling you to heat up your nail any way possible.
“I’m not responsible if you set yourself on fire.” I love this guy 😂😂😂 totally gonna try his method. I’ve spent so much $$ on special nail fungal treatments that just haven’t worked for over 5 years now ..
I will try the fire technique! I have had toenail fungus for about 14 years now. I’ve tried just about everything from essential oils and anti-fungal cremes to pulling out my toenails with pliers, without successfully being able to regrow a healthy toenail. I am determined to figure out a solution. The fire technique sounds like a perfect solution 🔥
Disinfecting with rubbing alcohol after a shower, topical application of clear iodine, as well as peppermint and tea tree oil, have been working for me. I want to try the magnifying glass treatment if its doesn't clear up 100%, but with Iodine I have seen great results and it is super cheap. Lamisil oral tablets didn't work for me, and neither did anti-fungal foot sprays. Wish you the best of luck. Let us know if it worked for you.
I have a far safer method that got rid of my stubborn toenail fungus (also with just one treatment). Step 1: Acquire a magnifying glass and wait for a sunny day. Step 2: Soak your nail in warm water until the nail is thoroughly soaked and soft (or do it straight out of a shower). Step 3: Working a 3mm square area at a time, slowly focus the lens onto your nail until you can feel the temperature reach the 'ouch' level (or you can see steam rising from nail) and do this 3x-4x times over the area. Step 4: Move to next area and repeat Step 3. This one treatment cured my infection in just a few minutes and within a few months a new healthy nail grew out.
My friend, I can’t thank you enough for this video. I tried everything from the doctor to home remedies and nothing worked, and I took your advice and it actually worked. Thank you very much much appreciated.
Had nail fungus on my big toes for years, tired all sorts- never worked. Recently discovered, grinding the nail down, brush every day with a tooth brush, castle soap, dry for 5 mins with hair dryer, get as much sun on the nail as possible and use Iodine daily. I noticed a huge difference. Slow process but definitely working. Fungus like to live in dark dirty, wet conditions.
I'm in the same boat. I've had a mild toenail infection on my right foot for about 5 years now. I've never really taken it too seriously but decided the past year to try and attack it. Sometimes I fall off the bandwagonBut typically what I like to do is take lugols iodine and I saturate all my toenails and the surrounding area. I still have it because I haven't been consistent enough but the most progress I've gotten has been with iodine. I now have a red light/infrared light device and I think that will help because this light spectrum also kills fungus.
Hi Deb. I just discovered the grinding advice, too, and started 2-3 wks. ago. Had been doing the povidone-iodine daily for about a month before that, and hadn't seen any results. The grinding makes so much sense, and it feels good to know I've actively, and quickly, removed a fair portion of the fungus already. (Am using a Dremmel for that.) I'm doing everything else you mentioned, except the *castile* soap. I now try not to get my feet wet, because 5 mins. of hair drying seems like an eternity -- mostly because a part of my brain isn't convinced of the need for doing it that long. I wonder what you mean when you say the process is "definitely working." My growing understanding is that the nail we see today is not going to heal. It's more that, if we're successful, the fungus will become inactive/inert, thus not spread to the new nail growth. So, we're basically waiting for the new healthy nail to grow in (while we keep clipping away the old, inert-fungal portions). About a 12-18 month process, I've heard.
I also thought about what conditions fungus cant thrive in when i had mild toe nail fungus growth under the nail. Turns out low pH conditions like acidic condition is unfavorable for yeast fungal cells. So i bought a jug of HCL acid at hardware store for pool pH balance. It comes as 30% HCL. Used a dropper and dropped the high concentration HCL around and under the nail. Once it started to sting i rinsed it off with water. The fungus literally dissolved and i could scoop it out from under the nail. Amazing things happen when you use logic with your brain.
@@AStri-zg5xc Yes its used for pool pH control! They are the same thjng Muriatic acid is the simple common name for HCl. And yes it is acid and is dangerous if left on skin for prolonged time. But 30 seconds to 1 minute will be fine. Maybe some skin irritation. Dont leave for longer though as it can damage the skin.
I am doing this with a magnifying glass and will update!! I went on terbinafine and the side effects were not good so I stopped today. Day 1: I went over all the nails until I felt and “ouch” feeling. Not sure if I got every single part of each nail though. Day 2: I got the hang of it more and got less scared of feeling a slight burn. Also I’m applying Vicks vapor rub at night. Day 3: I made sure to put sunscreen on my toes this time and going over each toenail again. So far my toenails have grown out and I’ve been able to cut away at the thicker part of the nails. They look a lot better.
We need more people like u! The creams never worked for me either amd to think i was about to pay 1000 to get my toenail fungus lazer u just saved my self esteem and my money
I would rather use hair dryer till I can't bare the heat no more and repeat the process.... If that doesn't work try ordering intraconazole tabs from india or somewhere cos thats the best meds to work on nail fungus if you wanted to go meds root... Good Luck
@@ChuckJaeTV4 how many pills are you prescribed and how long have you been taking them ? I took 30 pills and noticed the difference about 60 days later. It should work with you , too. NOTE: Dont consume alchocol.
I've had a fungal infection in my nails for over 6 years now. It started with a damaged toenail and then got worse by using someone else's nail clippers who had an infection (bad idea). Lamisil oral anti-fungal tablets didn't work for me, and neither did over-the-counter anti-fungal foot sprays (although they do work for infections on the skin). Disinfecting with rubbing alcohol after a shower, topical application of clear iodine, as well as peppermint and tea tree oil, have been working for me (menthol has fungistatic and antimicrobial properties and smells nice, whereas Iodine actually deactivates many microbes including most fungi) as well as 3% hydrogen peroxide solution topical application after every toenail clipping to kill anything growing underneath. With Iodine specifically (clear iodine) I have seen great results and it is super cheap; I barely have any visible fungus left in the nail at this point, but I have to keep using it to make sure it goes away completely. I also use a UV shoe lamp every day to kill anything growing in my shoes and boots when I am not wearing them. Hydrogen peroxide solution and sunlight can also be used to disinfect footwear when not in use. Best of luck to everyone!
I had a toenail infection for 20 years. I started putting a tablespoon of dark baking chocolate powder and a tablespoon of coconut oil in my black coffee every morning. I did this for my general health but a surprising side effect was that my infected toenail started growing out healthy again. As it grew out i would trim off the old nail and after about a year my toenails look much better.
As the dental students were working in my mouth at the student clinic in my city, they were joking about how they planned on not doing well enough on the patient because they wanted repeat customers. These were two young ladies. Thanks for sharing. I will not try, but it is good to know.l
A safer alternative that worked for me that essentially does the same thing is to buy one of these new super bright LED flashlights. They get very hot and are insanely bright and just make sure it's fully charged on the brightest mode and hold it directly against the toenail/fingernail. It heats up more slowly but will absolutely burn but not as quickly as a lighter so it's much safter. It cured my really bad fungus. I too had the same thinking as you, I remembered from biology class learning about fungus and the effects of light and thought to give it a try.
@@luisherrera2786 it's not super fast. I did it a few times a week and took about a month to start noticing the difference. BTW, I was using the Anker lc40 and lc90 but any similar flashlight should work.
I was sick of my nail infection and I thought what kills fungus and I thought probiotics. So I took a capsule of probiotics I would normally take orally, broke it open and rubbed it into some softening coconut oil and rubbed it all over my feet, toes, toe nails and in-between my toes. Four days later the fungus had completely gone
I'm filing the surface down slightly of both big toenails that have some fungus marks in them ( not big ones) Next I'm putting on bleach that will for sure kill the fungus. I've used bleach on shower stall, and it completely kills all mould and fungi ( total kill) I saw some people having great success on video here, so I decided to give the bleach a shot. Just into my second day, and about 70 % of the fungus and marks on my toenails are gone. Just have it on the big toes. I believe in 5 -7 days, it will be gone "forever" I put it on for only 5 - 6 minutes, then I wash it off with soap and water. I've even seen doctors using this and having great success. I think Bleach is the way to go. You need to kill the spores. This man here has a very creative way of doing this, and I admire his innovation and coming up with his own idea. Seems it worked for him. I would think the flame from the lighter would melt the nail tho ?? so you'd have to be careful.
I remember speaking to a podiatrist and he said nail fungus is one of the hardest things to cure. Usually, you would have to remove the nail completely and apply treatment to that. Sometimes that doesn't even work, but what worked for was me eliminating as much sugar and carbs from my diet. It took nearly a year but my nails cleared up, but not completely
Please be careful. If you get a 2nd or 3rd degree burn under you nail there will be a high likelihood of infection. This will be difficult to treat with a topical antibiotic and could lead to some type of surgery.
i had fungus on my 2 big toes. i tried everything. nothing worked then i heard about the laser treatments. it was $100 per toe. i went ahead & got them all done. i teach water aerobics and the fungus was never going to go away because my feet were in the water several times a day. it was the best $1000 i ever spent. i got them done all at once. and it was gone almost immediately. it's been 6 years now and my toes still look great. keep your toes dry, wear socks that 'wick' and keep your toes in the sun as much as possible.
Iodine applied to nail for three days in a row cured my 10 year toenail fungus that even $100 nail treatment would not cure. I tried everything over the years. Fastest thing but I never thought of heating the area, very clever.
I like your thought process. To make a long story short, I had a rash that covered my legs. After two doctor appointments and two types of creams, after that the doctor wanted to do shots of some kind. I thought about it and it had to be some kind of fungus or bacteria. I thought about it and what would cause those things to die off. I filled my bath tub with warm water and put about a half a cup of bleach in the water and sat in it until the water was cold. I ended up doing that twice, but it ended the problem. So just like your hot or cold, acid or alkaline will also do the job, but of course I didn't have to have it penetrate a finger nail first. Thanks for your story. Makes perfect sense.
Your an Internet hero. Such an easy straightforward fix. Makes you wonder why doctors do not recommend it. Early days but this appears to have worked great. The nail treatments are expensive and ineffective. You can actually see the fungus retreat away from them. Thank you most kindly.
My doctor just gave me some topical stuff a few weeks ago to paint on my infected toe that I have been dealing with for years. I don't see any difference at all. Then I just came across a doctor on you tube and he mentioned that the sun does help - fungus prefers wet and dark areas so this doctor said sit outside in the sun for 5 minutes each day with your toes exposed until the fungus goes away. So some doctors do mention this but my doctor did not. I found you have to be pro active about your own health care. Good luck, I'm going to try this so I hope it will work. Also, the doctor on youtube said to keep your infected toes clean by using a used tooth brush and soap in the shower to clean the old fungus off the toenail each day. Be sure and let your toes dry after the shower thoroughly or use a hair dryer. Remember fungus likes to be wet.
@paulgibbons2320 He told you why at the end. Doctors aren't trained to cure or heal you. They're trained to diagnose and TREAT you for as long as you'll be a paying cu$tomer.
I've tried everything going on for 12 years and it just keeps coming back. It may start to get better but will totally take over the nail again in one day. I like the magnifying glass method for toes and will try the torch method on fingers. I will update if I live through it ...
I use a heat shrink heater much hotter than a hair dryer to heat mosquito bits just after I get them they go away very quickly. I don't know if the heat kills the bacteria or stops my body's reaction to them but it works. I also like you heat till it gets uncomfortable then back off ... for about 30 seconds or till the flesh gets hot inside. Thanks for posting very interesting.
I was doing some research,i found that yeast and fungus are killed at 45 -70 centigrades, magnifying glass at its tiniest concentrated point reach 251 centigrades,if you apply a bigger concentrated point on your nails it could get 70 centigrades without burning you,i guess it works because i tried everything, creams, peroxide hydrogen, lemon, garlic, alcohol, hot water(not hot enough to kill this) the whole idea is about killing the fungus inside the nail,of course creams and all said before works but only at the surface, the real infection is in there

This makes sense. You can now get laser treatment which uses the same principle. It kills the fungi with the intense laser beam. Fungi cant survive in heat.
What I read is that there are different varieties of fungi and some of those creams may end up curing only one kind that's why your physician prescribed another brand. But you're smart. Just torch 'em. I've solved my problem by buying different creams and it worked but it took a long time. Next time I will try your slash and burn method.
This reminds me of a story I heard a few years back. Old acquaintance used to get really bad ingrown toenails for basically most of his life. He begged his foot doctor to remove them, but the doctor refused since the doctor didn't think they were that bad. So, one day this guy decided he was going to do it himself. He drank a fifth of vodka and pulled his toenails out with a pair of pliers. When he was finished, he called for an ambulance to take him to the hospital. After he healed up from that, he never had to see the foot doctor again.
Yes, cut off the infected part, that's what I do, if there fungus underneath, it's not that painful. I just cut my right toe nail back like that, and I expect it to be better now. Going to be soaking toe in vinegar and baking soda though . My left toe, I'm using Vicks, but I'm going to try a lighter, freezing, and soldering iron. A laser if I figure out which
I’ve never had a nail fungal infection. But I’ve had numerous skin fungal infections. Some things I’ve used that worked with varying success: - Apple Cider Vinegar - White Vinegar - Hydrogen Peroxide - Borax - Iodine - Sulfur - Colloidal Silver - Gentian Violet - Oil of Oregano - Keto or Candida Diet Not sure if it’ll work on a nail infection but doesn’t hurt to try
@@allornothing432 I’d say they’re all pretty effective.. that’s why I listed them. But some work better for different types of fungal issues. For instance, ACV, Peroxide, and Iodine work best for topical superficial fungal infections. Iodine works good for subcutaneous fungal infections. Borax was better to prevent foot fungus after long day of wearing work boots, also can be used as shampoo to treat dandruff, which is a fungal scalp condition. Sulfur (soap) was best for removing fungal acne from whole body. Colloidal silver was best for treating normal bacterial acne but also preventing fungal infections from progressing and spreading. Oil of oregano i used internally and helped treat a particularly stubborn yeast rash in the crease if my elbow. Candida diet and keto helped to lower the severity of all fungal infections . Im still testing gentian violet, but I read that it’s supposed to be one of the best anti fungals
Great idea! You can also chop up fresh garlic glove or use a garlic press, then put garlic on affected area, cover with plastic wrap or cut the thumb part off a rubber glove to cover finger or toe. Leave on 24 hours and fungus should be gone.
I've had a finger fungus for a year, its spread to two more fingers and my mother just told me the same thing. Word for word. Garlic, plastic wrap, keep it airtight
I did this , I put garlic minced in a bit of olive oil cut the thumb off a latex glove and wrapped bandaid on edge to keep it in place, it worked but maybe needed two days instead of one. I then heard iodine applied is best treatment. I applied iodine three days in a row. Gone.
LOL, you´re just as savage as I am. I had something heavy falling on my toe and it cracked the nail and caused internal bleeding, which in turn lifted the nail up from the underlying skin. After a while, the majority of the nail fell off and I was left with a tiny piece of nail that was curved upwards and hurt like hell in my shoe and bandaging it would only hurt. Putting socks on it caused the nail to get stuck on the textile, which was also very painful. No matter what I did, that sh!t hurt me, again and again, and again. I grew fed up with it, took some pliers and ripped it out and put some disinfectant on it and then properly bandaged it. Truth be told, I was cursing and crying through the whole procedure to the point that I was surprised that my neighbors didn´t call the cops... The resulting superficial flesh wound hurt far less than this warped piece of nail and I could bandage it without any problems. I was only worried that it could end up looking like the nail of my father, who had also something heavy falling on his toe a long time ago and his nail has been about 4mm thick and yellow ever since! Yes, that´s a chronic fungal infection. In my case, though, the nail healed perfectly despite my rough DIY approach.
edi, You are a savage...too. That’s the worst pain I’ve experienced... Toe nail getting knocked off or pulled off was worse than broken bones and stage four cancer... The toe nail wins, toes down.
@@lettersandnumbersuc I had broken bones and torn tendons too. Broken bones hurt less. The tendon was worse, but not bad because it KOed me. The thing that really pisses me off is an ear inflammation on Friday evening (because then you can spend the next day in hospital waiting for treatment). I don't know why, but such things nearly always happen on weekends and official holidays... The pain might not be this bad, but it just doesn't go away and it keeps you from sleeping.
Why not use a heat gun? Or maybe a blow dryer? Wonder if that would work? Doesn’t seem as scary as using a lighter. You could also DIY an adapter piece to put on the end of the heat gun if you want the air to blow in a more localized spot. Kinda hard to explain so I hope I don’t confuse anyone.
I'm trying manuka oil (full strength) in combination with hydrogen provide (food grade). I also wash my feet with activated charcoal soap every shower. This is the first time that I see any kind of method that is working.
I have both! And they are both way affordable compared to drug store items. I can't wait to try it...I was already considering activated charcoal because I use it for everything. I can't believe I hadn't thought of it until today.

Okay I've just tried it and I'm pretty confident I've just cured one toe.. I don't feel steady enough to tackle the rest at this moment but I'll tell you what I discovered in trying.. My irons lowest setting is 180 degs centigrades which is too low to get any proximity heat without getting very close.. touching the nail causes it to sizzle.. no paint but I wasn't happy about that so I turned it up til it glowed red (over 450c) and then backed it off a bit. Settled at around 400. This is centigrades.. it was very very hot but felt I could control it better at a more manageable distance (between 5+10 mm) It hurts. I’ve had a fungal nail infection in my big toe for 18 years. I managed to heal the cracked part that was horizontally across the nail with Thera fungal nail destroyer oil product. But there’s a stubborn split up the side that points right down into the corner and is impossible to get to with a file. Ugly and frustrating. The nail does burn when I use the powerful nail drill. Maybe I need to completely file away the nail down to the exposed flesh. Then see if it grows up. I hate this.
Hi, I really appreciate your help and inspiration to thinking about what kills fungus. I am using a slightly different approach but with the same principles. I am using my led nail lamp that cures gel polish. UV light has been used to kill microbes virus and fungi on surfaces and clearly it is safe to use on hands and feet. I will update with results. This is day one.
Guys, I wish I would have stuck with it but I didn’t for one reason. I started soaking my feet in water with a cap full of bleach daily, an old school doctor advised this a long time ago for my son with eczema who at the time had staph skin infection. It worked for him so I tried it for my foot fungus. I ended up with a bad 2nd degree chemical burn from the bleach so I decided not to use the UV lamp. I still think it is a wonderful idea if tested alone. Let me be clear. The lamp did not cause my burn. New studies show photo therapy to be extremely effective for a host of skin disorders including psoriasis, eczema, and fungal infections.
UVC, as far as I know, is for sterilizing surfaces, but I suppose it might also work on toenail fungus. I have a spot of ringworm (not a worm, it's a type of fungus) on my lower leg and after using over the counter cream for months I've started exposing the spot to the light from a reptile's UVB light bulb. I just started doing this and it's an experiment, but I plan to do this for a few minutes each day for at least two weeks to see if I get any improvement.

Beautiful sense of Humor and most doctors are Wolves in Sheeps clothing 🤣 There are an EXTREMELY small remnant of doctors out there that actually try to heal and help their patients and not convert them into medical cash cows but they are far and few between.
I used Copper Sulfate (CS) foot bath, 20 mins a day for a week, all of my toenails & four fingernails were infected badly, but it takes is seven days of soaking them after that all of my nails turned black (very Gothic) & then fell off. And fresh new clean nails grew in, take multi vitamins & they'll grow back in a hell of a lot faster. I also cut & filed down my bad nails to make them as thin as I could. And after your first soak you'll be able to see the fungus under the nails, the CS will dye it indigo (blue). I only thought I had one infected fingernail, but doing this showed me that it had spread to three more fingernails. Here's six tips; Keep your pets away, CS will make them VERY SICK, it shouldn't kill them unless they drank a lot of the treated blue water, if this happens my guess would be force them to drink .03% hydrogen peroxide to cause vomiting, do this as soon as possible. I treated the CS as a loaded gun, & locked myself in a bathroom, & when done poured it down the drain & washed out the container I used to soak my feet in, & flush the drain with clean water. You might not want to drink any forms of Alcohol during these 7 days, & lower your sugar intake, both will put a load on your liver, & your liver is what is dealing with the CS. And drink double your normal amount of water to flush it out of your system, & yes if you start peeing blood, STOP & seek help, & take the CS with you. So they can test it to make sure there isn't anything else bad in it like arsenic or cyanide. Buy laboratory grade Copper Sulfate, as pure as you can get it (99.99% pure) , yes it's more expensive, than the ceaper stuff, but you gotta know this is going inside of you. When done do not toss in your yard, it will kill everything green for years. Doesn't mean you can't put in a squeeze bottle & write "F U" in someone's lawn you hate, just joking, handle it like a loaded gun, & you wouldn't want any animals to die from drinking this. It is a poison ☠ ☠ If it makes you sick, either completely stop, or only soak for only 10 mins &/or make it weaker, or only do it every other day. Soak all of your shoes in this same solution to make sure your old shoes do not just gives you back the same fungus infection, or if you can wash your shoes in the washing machine on sterilize or sanitize & add bleach, or just throw your shoes away & buy new ones. All of my shoes are black or brown, some leather, I did all of the above to my shoes, except I didn't use bleach on the leather shows. Modern leather can handle a hell of a lot of torture, all of my shoes look fine after being washed on super hot water, they might be need to be broken in again b/c of shirking. Hope this helps someone :)
I was also using Clorox the green spray bottle on a toe nail that had mild fungus . And I could see the nail grow clear but it came back when I stopped so I’m doing it again
You are a Genius but I took your idea to the next level Genius 🤣 other thing than fungus hate is light, so I thought to myself what has light and heat at the same time. So I took a magnifying glass and worked on the infected Nail. I got heat and light! Please let's share this to the world ! Thanks again
This is great, I thought about heat, but knew it had to be super hot. I treat any of my skin disorders with super hot tea. I rest a cup of tea against the spot, cancer cant live in an environment of over 107 degrees Farenheit. And neither can deformed skin cells. They will just die, and new pink skin appears. I will definitely try this, worst case I burn my toes or finger.
Excellent information... I have a question, it is dangerous to look at the light on the nails, the light is very strong and it is hard for me to focus my eyes to accommodate the toes where the light is concentrated.
"You should trust Doctors. They are a profession that always thinks about how to fix your problems and never how to prolong your suffering so they can make money off of you." Best disclaimer I've ever heard haha.
Thankyou I'm going to try this.... I work in hot climates so I'm prone to toenail fungal infections I really hope this works for me...... Very clever sir!!!!
You said cold also kills fungus. The doctors have some stuff called cold ice, which is used to kill warts. I might present this logic to a doctor to see if they would try.

Ha ha .. I remember this treatment .. I stepped on a rusty nail once when I was a kid and my mom whose from the old country applied this solution. ( I thought she would’ve take me for a tetanus shot ). She made me lie on my stomach and then applied olive oil to the underside of foot where the nail penetrated. Then she lit a paper towel on fire and then tapped it on the underside of my foot. I remember it burned like hell. But I was ok. All in One shot.
I’m not sure what is wrong with my thumb nail. It’s is extremely painful if I bump it against something but there is no visible fungus or trauma of any kind. It also sometimes aches so bad for no reason just for a few seconds but it’s very intense. Does anyone think this treatment could help me? I know no one here is a doctor and I won’t hold anyone responsible for any suggestions they might try if they were me.
Guys it worked! I struggled with toe nail fungus for almost 3 years, tried everything, from foot baths to seeing specialists (where they removed my whole nail only for the fungus to be back a few weeks later)
I used the lighter method every week for 3 weeks (so 3 times in total) and now (about 2 months later) I already have half a centimeter of healthy nail growing out.
Can't believe I struggled so long when the answer was so simple 😂😭
Thanks for sharing!
@Druss The Legend Ah, nice! I hope it heals soon for you ❤️
Hi Lena, how is your nail now? Is it still growing out clear? It was at 5mm clear, how about now? You said you did it every week for 3 weeks - was that every day each week or just once a week for 3 weeks? Thank you so much for sharing your experience with it :D Danke sehr viel.

@@angelic6876 hi, yes it is still growing out! I did the method again once out of caution but about half of the nail has grown out since I first did it! Really happy with the results so far :)

@@renskedj Vicks vapour rub also will do that, I think it is anything with petroleum jelly in it.

He is right. I heard from a doctor saying that sun light , heat exposure is enemy of fungi.
“I’m not responsible if you set yourself on fire.”
I love this guy 😂😂😂 totally gonna try his method. I’ve spent so much $$ on special nail fungal treatments that just haven’t worked for over 5 years now ..

I will try the fire technique! I have had toenail fungus for about 14 years now.

Are You Serious ?
My friend, I can’t thank you enough for this video. I tried everything from the doctor to home remedies and nothing worked, and I took your advice and it actually worked. Thank you very much much appreciated.
This guy is an underrated genius.
@@jimreadey4837 I just keep filing my nail down and it’s definitely working. Hope you get it sorted

It's muriatic acid that's used in pools to lower the pH, not hydrochloric acid, which is dangerous.
Pretty dumb. What’s your toe worth to you? An fing lot.
How do you raise it off from under the nail?
How could you scoop something out from under your nail? Your nail could be open like a door?

I went on terbinafine and the side effects were not good so I stopped today.

I'm filing the surface down slightly of both big toenails that have some fungus
marks in them ( not big ones) Next I'm putting on bleach that will for sure kill
the fungus. I've used bleach on shower stall, and it completely kills all mould
and fungi ( total kill) I saw some people having great success on video here,
so I decided to give the bleach a shot. Just into my second day, and about 70 %
of the fungus and marks on my toenails are gone. Just have it on the big toes.
I believe in 5 -7 days, it will be gone "forever" I put it on for only 5 - 6 minutes,
then I wash it off with soap and water. I've even seen doctors using this and
having great success. I think Bleach is the way to go. You need to kill the spores.
This man here has a very creative way of doing this, and I admire his innovation
and coming up with his own idea. Seems it worked for him. I would think the
flame from the lighter would melt the nail tho ?? so you'd have to be careful.

Don't always trust Doctors... and yes this method really works.
did you try to do this?
Makes sense that this would work because I’m quite sure that’s what laser treatment would do.
they do something very similar, just in a more flashy, overcomplicated and expensive way
I remember speaking to a podiatrist and he said nail fungus is one of the hardest things to cure. Usually, you would have to remove the nail completely and apply treatment to that. Sometimes that doesn't even work, but what worked for was me eliminating as much sugar and carbs from my diet. It took nearly a year but my nails cleared up, but not completely
Yup 👍 Your absolutely right! It's because fungi 🍄 especially, yeast thrives on sugar!
Yep, this was the only thing that cured my fungal infection but then I fell of the diet wagon and it came right back.
Sooooooooooo........it didn't really work?
Zero sugar for me also, and topic treatment, let’s hope it will work!! 🙌🏼
This explains so much. But I don't think I can leave the sugar out of my life :(
Please be careful. If you get a 2nd or 3rd degree burn under you nail there will be a high likelihood of infection. This will be difficult to treat with a topical antibiotic and could lead to some type of surgery.
Lol an infection on top of an infection??
i had fungus on my 2 big toes. i tried everything. nothing worked then i heard about the laser treatments. it was $100 per toe. i went ahead & got them all done. i teach water aerobics and the fungus was never going to go away because my feet were in the water several times a day. it was the best $1000 i ever spent. i got them done all at once. and it was gone almost immediately. it's been 6 years now and my toes still look great. keep your toes dry, wear socks that 'wick' and keep your toes in the sun as much as possible.
Was it $100 per toe or $1000 per toe?
Iodine applied to nail for three days in a row cured my 10 year toenail fungus that even $100 nail treatment would not cure. I tried everything over the years. Fastest thing but I never thought of heating the area, very clever.
how did you apply it?

You're disclaimer was on target! ❤

Drs don't recommend cures, only treatments that dont work.
@@PatriciaRay-kq6gb The paint on stuff is expensive and not effective enough if you ask me.
@paulgibbons2320 He told you why at the end. Doctors aren't trained to cure or heal you. They're trained to diagnose and TREAT you for as long as you'll be a paying cu$tomer.

The heat deactivates the histamine that rushes to the area, therefore making the itch subside

Nor in light. They need dark moist and warm environments.

Most of the Doctors are as you said, the money makers more than their ethics.
if heat is the killer, just hold a focused blow dryer right on the nail on high heat. believe me you will pull away soon.
Idk if it’s hot enough tho?
This reminds me of a story I heard a few years back. Old acquaintance used to get really bad ingrown toenails for basically most of his life. He begged his foot doctor to remove them, but the doctor refused since the doctor didn't think they were that bad. So, one day this guy decided he was going to do it himself. He drank a fifth of vodka and pulled his toenails out with a pair of pliers. When he was finished, he called for an ambulance to take him to the hospital. After he healed up from that, he never had to see the foot doctor again.
I hear it is also a way to fix a nail that has completely been fungally infected. But it takes some guts and, preferably, some vodka too apparently.
Wow strong willed people
Doctor didn't want to fix,he wanted to treat for Ever!
A laser if I figure out which
Ouch!
I’ve never had a nail fungal infection. But I’ve had numerous skin fungal infections.
Some things I’ve used that worked with varying success:
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- White Vinegar
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Borax
- Iodine
- Sulfur
- Colloidal Silver
- Gentian Violet
- Oil of Oregano
- Keto or Candida Diet
Not sure if it’ll work on a nail infection but doesn’t hurt to try
Ehh so what actually worked in that witches brew?
@@allornothing432 huh?
@@PeaceNinja007 You have no idea which of those items was MOST effective?
Try using deodorant on your skin infections. Miraculous 😊
Thanks! Just tried it, hope it works!

Yeh, fun stuff. 🙂
Bro you could have FILED THE NAIL DOWN why rip it when you could have filed it?!?!
I do see some improvement and believe me, I've tried everything. I have had this since I was 18, I am now 36 and it grew into the toe beds. I have both! And they are both way affordable compared to drug store items. I can't wait to try it...I was already considering activated charcoal because I use it for everything. I can't believe I hadn't thought of it until today.
Yeah I've had it since I was like 23 and am 35...I had no idea I had severe atheletes foot the last almost 15 years...i thought I just had rough bad feet from working alot and walking around barefoot all the time...I used to walk through spring river barefoot as as teenager...its sad how uneducated we are about such a common issue people suffer from. Lamisil oral tablets didn't work for me, and neither did over-the-counter anti-fungal foot sprays (although they do work on the skin). With Iodine specifically I have seen great results and it is super cheap. I also use a UV shoe lamp every day to kill anything growing in my shoes and boots when I am not wearing them. Best of luck!

I have same question but realise I can try with a soldering iron.. I don't need to touch it. I have adjustable temperature iron so will try slowly and gently gently burny fungy 🤞
This is centigrades.. it was very very hot but felt I could control it better at a more manageable distance (between 5+10 mm)
It hurts. Not mad pain and I was always in control but I think you want to feel it to know it's working.
I feel this is going to be the solution. I am not a doctor. Please don't try this without sober adult supervision 🥴
My fungus is in my toenails and I almost laughed, imagining myself grabbing my feet and turning them upside down so I could aim the lighter at the toenails. I must mention that I am 70 years old. Maybe it would be easier to use the cold method, as there is lots of snow outside now. My podiatrist says there is nothing to be done about it, but right now I am using tea tree oil in the morning and Vicks at night.

Fungi ≠ Fire

I’ve had a fungal nail infection in my big toe for 18 years. I managed to heal the cracked part that was horizontally across the nail with Thera fungal nail destroyer oil product. But there’s a stubborn split up the side that points right down into the corner and is impossible to get to with a file. I bought an industrial plug in nail file/ drill with pointed attachments but it’s still impossible to get to without touching the flesh of my toe. Am worried about putting a flame here. But I’m desperate. I want a partner in life but feel this is so gross, who would want it. I can cover it with nail varnish so it isn’t so obvious but the warped shape is still apparent.
This is day one.

Yes, tell us your update. What happened?
Sounds good! Thanks, but i would use a magnifying glass. I hope it helps.

There are an EXTREMELY small remnant of doctors out there that actually try to heal and help their patients and not convert them into medical cash cows but they are far and few between.
Here's six tips;
Keep your pets away, CS will make them VERY SICK, it shouldn't kill them unless they drank a lot of the treated blue water, if this happens my guess would be force them to drink .03% hydrogen peroxide to cause vomiting, do this as soon as possible.
