TRIP AND RETURN FROM SALVADOR- VILA do DIOGO and PRAIA de SANTO ANTÔNIO, NORTH BAIANO COAST

Our first video of the year, it's about two beautiful, rustic villages, with dunes, river and beach... Let's get to know Vila do Diogo and Santo Antônio together!
.
Both located in the Municipality of Mata de São João, green line, northern coast of Bahia, very close to Imbassay (5 minutes) and Praia do Forte (10 minutes)
.
As it is so close to both, if you are staying in these destinations, it is worth spending a day on your trip to visit the villages and take this dune tour!
.
In our case, we did a round trip leaving Salvador. It's 80km away, approximately 1:30 by car!
.
We started in Diogo, where we left the car parked and met our guide Ademir to begin our tour of the Dunes!
.
The tour folks, it's very beautiful, but it's worth highlighting that I don't recommend it for children, the elderly, and people with mobility difficulties, it takes 1:30 minutes walking along the beach (soft sand) so you need to be willing to do it!
.
On this tour we stop at the Imbassay River, which is delightful and end at Santo Antônio beach, another sandy village with beautiful houses that is starting to grow for tourism!
