ill informed science conversations are the bread and butter of this podcast, it's what made me fall in love with this podcast. I wish Bernie would stop trying to steer away from topics that often lead to hilarious content.
no i get where Gav is comin from about the assassination a suit kind stands out, so you kinda expect an assassin to be wearing civilian clothes so they can just blend in with the crowd during all the panic to get away.
TheEssentialHughJazz so was the guy who shot the russian guy. If you are going to infiltrate, you need to fit in. If you were going to kill a clown, you wouldn't go in black and tie...you would go as a clown...
To Burnie discussing the violence resurgence, my history professor stated a few weeks ago that, "The United States holiday from history (started in the 1990's) has ended." A holiday from history.
For those wondering, Egg nog is liquid ice cream with booze (usually bourbon) in it. (Technically it is creme anglese with booze, which is what ice cream starts as before it is churned)
if the player on the site would remember where I am in a video instead of starting over if I leave the page or try to watch on a different device that would be great. UA-cam has had that feature for ages, and it's pretty much the only reason why I watch most RT content here instead of on the site and mobile app
Yeah, I would have actually wanted to hear you speak more (but I understand it can be hard to edge into a podcast conversation, even Barb struggles sometimes)
1:34:00 That feature is still there guys. all you need to do is click and hold the timer then drag the mouse up. Then drag for a smaller section of the time. :)
PhoeniksoftheStorm apparently a formula? you do realise they are developed by a formula, not the other way right? no "scientist" came and discovered a formula for converting it, any temperature can be converted to any other by the very definition of temperature, with respect it water, (T in Celsius - freezing point(0 in this case))/(boiling - freezing point) = (T in Fahrenheit - freezing point(32 over here))/(boiling - freezing point(which is 212 - 32)). this can be applied to any other "scales" made up or recognized. Kelvin is the standard international. the formula you wrote is just simplifying the above expression to Tc/5 = (Tf - 32)/9
I tried egg nog for the first time a few weeks ago. The best way I can describe it, is that it feels and tastes like drinking melted vanilla ice cream. So it's kinda like drinking a vanilla shake/smoothy, with spices, but slightly thicker in viscosity. It's good, but I would only drink it as a dessert. With rum, and crushed Peppermint on the rim of the glass.
Burnies new internet voice is my favorite thing on this podcast. Including Burnie's normal voice. Not that his normal voice is bad, his internet voice is just way, way better.
definition of the word care. Gus got out of his seat for whiskey, and a glass just so Gavin could sample a proper eggnog. knowing that he himself hates eggnog AND Gavin has already said he doesn't like it.
Yeah, it must be so cold in Texas. They must be absolutely freezing their butts off. I can't imagine how many inches of snow they've had to shovel off their driveways in the morning. It must be a nightmare driving to work. I hope they got their snow tires on and watch out for black ice.
$5 million dollars but everytime you sneeze, you go back in time 5 days and no one knows about it but you. You'll have to repeat everything you did for 5 whole days or you may do things differently.
Mooseknuck Scalloper wait... if you relive your life... you're gonna relive to the point you sneeze... so you're just living a loop ... for $5 million dollars.... which means you'll have unlimited money...
no you can do things differently which means avoiding the situation in which you sneeze. Also, If you catch cold every sneeze will keep pushing you back farther in time. And every time you sneeze you go back.
I saw a video on sci show earlier about test tube baby making (forgot the acronym) and how it was only just invented in the 70's and the first baby to be born by that is now 40 and I'm also a test tube baby and I'm only 21 so if that man hadn't invented that just 19 years before I was born, I would not be here. Not only do I owe my existence to my parents but also the scientists that handled me and the scientist that invented how I was made. Yes this comment does tie into this podcast at around 45:00 I'm not just saying things
it looks like hes holding a lighter. i seen there drinking eggnog. in Australia people make waterpipes out of anything. its just the timing of the shot.
Franz Ferdinand was an Austrian Assassinated by a Serbian in Sarajevo not the in Ottoman Empire. The closest tie to the Ottoman Empire was that he was killed near an Ottoman era mosque. Just looking out!
There is a certain area in my town that is literally impossible to left turn at if it's during a school day. There is so much traffic from parents dropping off/picking up their kids that it is faster to make a right turn, drive down a mile to the nearest point to turn around, and head back the direction you just came. I've sat waiting to make a left turn for 30 minutes before.

Thanks for having me on guys. This was crazy fun. Hope we can do it again soon.
Thanks for being on the podcast, enjoyed it alot.
Don't know if you remember but I met you at Toranga Zoo before RTXAU.
I feel like there should be more than one reply on this comment, so…
ill informed science conversations are the bread and butter of this podcast, it's what made me fall in love with this podcast. I wish Bernie would stop trying to steer away from topics that often lead to hilarious content.
"What does the average assassin wear?
GAVIN, YOU'VE PLAYED HITMAN, COME ON, DUDE.
Will Cadelina 47 is the best assassin though, not average
Not when Gavin is controlling him.
Also a guy threw a hand grenade at Bush Jr., and I love how no one mentions the assassination of Fred Hampton by the FBI.
*Try watching the video before commenting.*
The KKK didn't assassinate people.
"Was she fit?"
"She was like 80."
That didn't answer the question.
Cold in Texas, warm as f*ck in Northern Europe... i need snow already!
Where you at in Northern Europe?
Estonia. +3 C currently...
Umpa Lumpa its -1c in Toronto right now (but it's sunny enough to start melting ice)
Umpa Lumpa Yeah I'm in central Sweden and it's a little colder but not much really. -2 C and no snow.
checking in for Montana, was -11 F all of last week.
7:55
Gavin could not have said it better. That sentence summarizes my life.
no i get where Gav is comin from about the assassination
a suit kind stands out, so you kinda expect an assassin to be wearing civilian clothes so they can just blend in with the crowd during all the panic to get away.
Depends where you are and most assassins don't really have a exit strategy. It's mostly just to get close to kill their target.
thats true as well
the guy who shot abraham was in a suit and a top hat.
He was at a formal event lol
TheEssentialHughJazz
so was the guy who shot the russian guy. If you are going to infiltrate, you need to fit in. If you were going to kill a clown, you wouldn't go in black and tie...you would go as a clown...
Been watching this podcast for five years now and still love it just as much.
To Burnie discussing the violence resurgence, my history professor stated a few weeks ago that, "The United States holiday from history (started in the 1990's) has ended."
A holiday from history.

"Everyone gets offended by everything" that quote is magnificent
get a better player for your site and i might start watching it there
I believe paypal works? It works for the store, also the site has recently gotten a new player from the old JWplayer, it works well for me
I agree completely. I only watch RWBY on youtube because the player sucks ass.
domehammer It doesn't ime. I had to reconnect to wifi and the video didn't pause or anything.
if the player on the site would remember where I am in a video instead of starting over if I leave the page or try to watch on a different device that would be great. UA-cam has had that feature for ages, and it's pretty much the only reason why I watch most RT content here instead of on the site and mobile app
The player is almost the same thing as UA-cam's.
Febuary 22nd, on Gus Day, I'm gonna get drunk, throw cooked sweet potatoes at cars, and scold people for not being named Gus!!!
Nate Dawg also make cheese
Upgrade X Playa CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

Have a good Christmas yall
RoosterTeeth is slowly working their way up to 9 million subscribers
Gus and Gavin are insane. Egg Nog is the greatest beverage on the planet.
Gavins face when Craig was talking about celcius is priceless.
Craig is a good fit here
thanks. good times
Yeah, I would have actually wanted to hear you speak more (but I understand it can be hard to edge into a podcast conversation, even Barb struggles sometimes)
Yeah, I thought it felt natural though so that's always good

The formula to calculate from Celsius to Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit to Celsius
Fahrenheit to Celsius C = (F - 32) * 5 / 9
Celsius to Fahrenheit F = (C * 9 / 5) + 32
Example 1 100 Fahrenheit = 37.7 Celsius
100 - 32 = 68
68 * 5 = 340
340 / 9 = 37.7
Example 2 100 Celsius = 212 fahrenheit
100 * 9 = 900
900 / 5 = 180
180 + 32 = 212
PhoeniksoftheStorm apparently a formula? you do realise they are developed by a formula, not the other way right? no "scientist" came and discovered a formula for converting it, any temperature can be converted to any other by the very definition of temperature,

Dhruv Chauhan ok yeah poor choice of words on my part,
I used to get bored watching these, but something about the new set and new camera angles makes it really interesting to watch.
that was a really good podcast gj

Ray should be a guest on podcast 420
Platfoot that's already happened, I don't think he was on that one
Tommie Cape they are currently on the 55-56 on Off Topic
Or always open 21
"That's 1 quart in Celsius"
Hand's down one of the funniest things Burnie's ever said.
That was the nicest sub-par christmas card I've ever seen. I am indifferent to whether or not it ends up in the garbage.
Egg nog and dark rum is a Christmas morning tradition in my family
Gus really impressed me with Guillermo, and then he comes out with east an-gi-la.
Back again this week. Still not disappointed.
I came here from Game Attack. Glad I could make it.
gotta love Burnie and his historical inaccuracies
pumpken spice. is the 6th spicegirl.
Mystninja Fricken why is Gavin wearing that ugly blue hoodie with those sun squeezers.
Mystninja Fricken why is Gavin wearing that ugly blue hoodie with those sun squeezers.
AWAREDIAGRAM 680 it's something Gavin made up during the podcast
Bernie "describe what eggnog taste like " Gus "it taste like ass"
am crying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"describe Eggnog."
"it taste like......ass."
"NO!"
Burnies new internet voice is my favorite thing on this podcast. Including Burnie's normal voice. Not that his normal voice is bad, his internet voice is just way, way better.
I think Craig is awesome, he just seems confused on this couch for some reason.
Mindfart. My bad. Stuttering Craig.
the couch does crazy things to do you man...
Idk but I enjoyed it
definition of the word care. Gus got out of his seat for whiskey, and a glass just so Gavin could sample a proper eggnog. knowing that he himself hates eggnog AND Gavin has already said he doesn't like it.
1:15:00 That app about the plane dates will never take off.
oh stop it
I wonder when you get rejected if you see a big red circle with an X in saying "cancelled"
Are you Barbara?
I love this podcast the only podcast I will 100% finish it!
I'm with Burnie Eggnog is delicious, side note eggnog is usually mixed with Brandy or Rum as apposed to bourbon
11:27 PLOT TWIST
Merry Christmas to anyone reading this
A brutal flu is ripping through my friend group right now. Currently washing my bedding after my fever broke last night and I had insane dreams.
Yeah, it must be so cold in Texas. They must be absolutely freezing their butts off. I can't imagine how many inches of snow they've had to shovel off their driveways in the morning. It must be a nightmare driving to work. I hope they got their snow tires on and watch out for black ice.
* sigh *
I truly hope you're joking
Tau Psi Pi he has a point, Gus has no leg to stand on sayin that it's cold in Texas
JTF2 sniper
* sigh *
I truly hope you're joking
Hot and cold are opinions I bet if it was even just 90F where you were you would probably say it was too hot and stay inside all day
Hey Craig just wanted to say thank you on behalf of Dr Pepper Snapple for support our business.
craig would be perfect acting as an NYPD or BostonPD rookie. he just has that look for some reason.
Merry X-mas and Happy holidays RT
I want a 'I killed the Russian Ambassador and all I got was this T-shirt' shirt
Broadcast is my favorite part of these podcasts
Last time I was even somewhat early,
That one channel was called Freddiew
Will Cadelina you were logging when you were early that long ago?
Will Cadelina Early for what? School?
That talk about WWE warmed my heart, finally, someone that understands.
$5 million dollars but everytime you sneeze, you go back in time 5 days and no one knows about it but you. You'll have to repeat everything you did for 5 whole days or you may do things differently.
That sounds more like a super power... Gimme da $$
Mooseknuck Scalloper wait... if you relive your life... you're gonna relive to the point you sneeze... so you're just living a loop ... for $5 million dollars.... which means you'll have unlimited money...
is it every individual sneeze or like every time time you sneeze, because i never just sneeze once
no you can do things differently which means avoiding the situation in which you sneeze. Also, If you catch cold every sneeze will keep pushing you back farther in time. And every time you sneeze you go back.
Mooseknuck Scalloper Bruh that'd be amazing. Intentionally sneeze, and you could prevent terrorist attacks, warn for disasters, etc.
Gus thanks for mentioning ipunch ever sense I downloaded it the app has made my life soooo much easier!! 10/10
Gavin just finds any way to link things back to skyrim
Sarge: what's that sound?
Caboose: that sound is called...water it is very wet and very slushy.
Sarge: that was retorical.
Wanna be patriotic? George Washington's favourite nog was with rum, so there you go!
Damn. Barb looking GOOOOOOD today.
You guys better have Ray on for the 420 podcast! #justblaze
22:18 May be my new favorite RT quote.

I was conceived in a dirty microwave in the basement of a Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Logan S. same. small world
Gus's voice is just perfect for reading sponsor things.
HoosierSons yeah, I like when Ryan reads them too. Very soothing haha
I've never had egg nog either, i dont even know if you can get it in Australia, I've never seen it
Klerik AU we have the custard but haven't seen egg nog where I am in Aus
Klerik AU I've never had egg nog as well and I'm from Texas...
They have it at Coles
You can try to make it
OAK have an eggnog flavour
When you're name is James and Gus out of nowhere tells you to make a National day for him
I thought that was Seth Rogen in the thumbnail...
Jack Divito Burnie hates you
26:57 Gus is in the middle of a funeral for his best friend, then he gets a notification from BBC news that a litter of beagles was just born
is burnie smoking a bong in the thumbnail
Mystninja eggnog gallon?
it looks like hes holding a lighter.
i seen there drinking eggnog. in Australia people make waterpipes out of anything. its just the timing of the shot.
Mystninja not just in Australia lol, in mexico i saw someone do it with a screwdriver and an avocado
javier alfaro i ment to reply to you. but i replyed to myself. i updated the app and every is different
javier alfaro they say stoners are the best Engineers
1:10:12 Bernie is my hero. This world needs more Bernies. #thankyou
Franz Ferdinand was an Austrian Assassinated by a Serbian in Sarajevo not the in Ottoman Empire. The closest tie to the Ottoman Empire was that he was killed near an Ottoman era mosque. Just looking out!
I had to do a double take. GO PANTHERS!
Frack Haha thanks man! Go Panthers!
ck9292 Not a problem. I just graduated last May.
Very cool! I graduated exactly a year ago. Just a semester ahead of you.
ck9292 Nice!
I think Burnie needs a random hug
that 32 oz egg nog would fit perfectly into a cowchop squiggly cup
I wasn't so keen about Craig but the more and more I see him I do like his comedy
Well WWE USED TO know their audience...
The best kind of assassins are the ones that blend in and you could never tell that they are one.
Wait, bourbon in egg nog? Not rum? Is this a regional thing?
Daft.
I think it might be because I've never heard of bourbon in eggnog, I've only ever heard of rum
T Delic Yeah it is usually rum, it tends to have more spices in it. Compliments the egg nog flavor
The only thing I've ever had in egg nog is Maker's. Rum seems like it would be too sweet, but I'll try it.
Ya its definitely rum where i am from.
Rum, brandy and bourbon seem to be the most popular.
"that's a quart in celsius" THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS BURNIE
Thoughts on Childish Gambino's new album?
Keith Harrell Gus and Burnie probably like it. They like him. they should - its a masterpiece.
Keith Harrell the beats are good, the difference in sound is great, the lyrics are mediocre.
Has Some great songs
Eh
Metallica's stands out as the best album this year for me, but Gambinos is good
Is it just me or is the audio of the podcast slowly getting quieter?
I'm with Gus, egg nog is nasty
Hey Burnie, nice podcast. keep up the good work big guy.
man craig must really hate screwattack but who doesnt
zach rice never even heard of it. Well I've heard the name and that one guy with the stupid emo hair but I never looked at what they did.
You better not read this stupid comment Burnie!
Happy National Gus Day!!
If you can drink eggnog you can swallow.
That is actually wild I did not even think about the parallels to the last century
Shame it's got to that point where burnie doesn't want to talk about things because of fan interaction
1:24:38 the best sound ive ever heard. Might be my new text tone.
If we set up a rocket building/launching station on the moon, we would be able to launch things from further away from the earth from a location with less gravity, though the question is could you launch that from the side away from the Earth?
dccrulez getting materials there would be impractical
JointedSpagel
At first, over time it should become sustainable. It would almost assuredly reduce the time to mars.
dccrulez was thinking the same thing.
Happy National Gus Day!
Compared to how much hair everyone else on the podcast has, Craig's hair isn't looking good
Hubert Kula his hair is just really short nothing else
yeah so Burnie shaved my heads for kids before Extra Life.
Hubert Kula I'm about half Craig's age and have a similar amount and thickness of hair. Just gotta own it!
4 years later I just checked and February 22nd is actually national Gus day
I never realized how liberal Burnie is. It's a bit disappointing. RT always does a good job of keeping politics out of their entertainment, which is exactly what entertainers should do. As soon as an entertainer talks about their political beliefs, it immediately detracts from their ability to entertain.
its the internet dude, everyone who is famous is liberal
ZaneCRUZE It isn't that he is a liberal, it is that he talked about it. I am not interested in entertainers' political opinions. That was my point.
Bruce Bratton if that was your point then just that, dumbass, don't insult him then back track and try to make it seem like you were right lmao
ZaneCRUZE how did I insult him? And why are you white knighting? Burnie isn't a hot chic that you have no hope of sleeping with.
Burnie's always been clearly liberal, on and off the podcast. He isn't blindly liberal which is probably why it took you so long to figure it out.
how tf is watching this live going to make us want to be a first member?😂😂😂
early ez
tfw first
congrats on being first =)
TheControlStick1 "that feeling when first" good one
Guys! UA-cam on iOS used to run on QuickTime until they took away the pre-installed UA-cam app. I agree, that feature was the best.
I freaked out when Gus told me to make his national day happen....I will not fail you!!
I love eggnog so much. One of my favourite drinks
