Fury. April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

yea i don't get why a lot of people didn't like it. I guess because it's not like other war movies that are full of heroics perfect soldiers. It just told it like it is. There was no glory in the end. Just war

there was only one ting wrong with the tiger tank scene and it was HUGE.....no tiger tank commander would have got closer to the shermans he would have backed up and used that 88's longer range VS the pop gun the shermans had , even the E8 was out gunned at rnage

Filmed in south Oxfordshire, just over the M40; a motorway in England. Good British weather; four seasons in one day! A friend of mine made all the prosthetic teeth for the actors….rough working class dirty teeth. The Sherman, Fury, is part of the collection at the Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset.

As is Tiger 131, the very last running tiger 1 tank left. A lot of props came via Bovington's archive too

Great production, but final showdown has nothing to do with reality.

Im a history buff and if you look at this movie With a historical documentary eyepoint it will not work, but if you just view it as a war film you gonna have a great time.

I swear these videos have more production than the movie itself... let that sink in for a sec.... if they put all of the effort on the movie instead of these "videos" it might have been legendary, instead, we got a mid-low movie....

I generally enjoyed the film. But as an ex Tankie I had to cast a slightly critical eye over it. The main criticism is that the troop of tanks operated far to close to one another, in real life there would have been far more distance between tanks, but I fully understand that this was for photographic purposes. The other is the ending, sorry, just naff.
