- After more than a year of designing and refining, Throne of String finally released the much-anticipated RIFT Shaft. Lacrosse's first ever interchangeable shaft featuring both carbon and metal, the RIFT is the first major advancement in shaft technology since Carbon shafts were introduced a decade ago. I get so mad at myself when I am editing and I am constantly looking at other things so I really tried to make it a point to remind myself to be looking at the camera.

do you know the total weight of the shaft?
I don't know it, but it also will change depending on which pieces you use. There are a speed and power variations of both the metal shaft and carbon, as well as weights that you put in the bottom of the shaft in order to balance the complete stick. So weight can and will vary depending on a number of things. I will tell you that it feels pretty light in your hand. Maybe not the lightest shaft on the market, but certainly not very heavy at all.
You should mention the carbon fiber piece is corked, so heads with Warriors lock-throat will not work with the shaft!
Good point. I actually never think about that because I never use carbon shafts and I rarely use Warrior heads. I probably wouldn't have thought about it until I went to use a Warrior head.
Cardinal Lacrosse unfortunately I learned the hard way, but I'd still take the Rift shaft any given day over other 1 piece shafts
Any knowledge if theres a chance of a dpole coming out?
