They are among my favorites of "the kids" who are proving that they and the music are going to be alright. Been a fan for years, starting with Allison, who's cover of I'll Be Here In The Morning - Townes Van Zandt is terrific, along with many others and her original music. (Allison Young on YT)
Then her and Josh doing songs like Autumn in New York on his channel. (Josh Turner Guitar) And all his music.
They are touring together now in Europe and the US as, "The Bygones", also on his channel, and have a new album out.

Excellent!!! This is one of the best versions that I have heard of what was at one time the most frequently covered popular song. Artie Shaw's orchestral cover of 1940 is also a great one.
If this prompts you to dive into Hoagy Carmichael's songbook, you must do Ray Charles' rendition of "Georgia on My Mind".
Allison and her accompanist softly hammered this home. It goes to show that it doesn't take too many parts to bring out the emotion of a beautiful melody and poetic lyrics.
My favorite 'Stardust' is the beautifully phrased rendition sung by Fiona Apple's very talented sister, Maude Maggart.

I believe Josh Turner has his own channel and you would probably like him and two of his friends doing a cover of the Beatles "And Your Bird Can Sing". It's excellent and I've heard that that song is the hardest Beatles song to play on the guitar. Great reaction.
Allison has a beautiful voice, and I believe she may be only 20 or 21 here. Check her and Josh out with their versions of "Crazy" and "Fever" as well. Also, definitely check her out singing "Mr Blue Sky" with Post Modern Jukebox. It's incredible. Josh Turner is also very talented himself. He plays with a bunch of different people. Definitely worth checking out his channel.
I've recently bought one of those mics (a Vanguard V44), largely on account of this video. I wish I could claim to have put it to as good use as they do, but maybe in time....

This is the song I played at my husband’s funeral. No kidding. 37 years ago, we had dinner in a booth in Indiana which had a plaque that said: “Hoagy Carmichael wrote the words to “Stardust” here”.
The very classic version of this song is by Nat King Cole. Anyone who loves beautiful music really has to hear that. It's recognized as a special landmark rendition from The Great American Songbook.
Allison and Josh formed The Bygones. They just put out an album and are touring the U.S. this year. . Check out their version of NOBODY CARES IF I’M BLUE. It’s even better. Allison has three songs with Postmodern Jukebox and has toured with them in the U.S and Europe.
