    What are the specs of your Westy?

  • @kenevans9120
    @kenevans9120 8 місяців тому

    Well it's certainly an eye catching title. But if we're talking about fast hill climb Westfields then I would have thought Ash Mason's takes the prize ;) Though to be fair, it's no longer in roadgoing spec, but it's still a "road car".

    Now you will get a electric car with powered suction downforce that can run for 2 mins only and tafe all the records,like the joke at goodwood. How elec and IC can share the same events is beyond me.

    • @SH1974
      @SH1974 8 місяців тому

      The McMurtry Spéirling can run for longer than 2 minutes, but I know what You mean. That's why they run in different classes. Imo they can share the same events because they are astonnishing sports- or even racecars as well as the combustion engined sports- or race vehicles are.
      Btw: Recently some young Swiss engineers have developed an electric racecar that probably could run this 40s hillclimb not even in "ultra eco mode", but it can accelerate 0-100km/h in 0,956 seconds! Seeing that car at Goodwood (or so) would certainly be an enrichment.

      @@nickmaclachlan5178well, technically, no it doesn’t give it away, but it does allow you to check that yes it has a current MOT

    • @nickmaclachlan5178

      @@emmajacobs5575 But if it wasn't road legal, it would not have, nor need to display, a valid number plate? In this case a Q plate which means the vehicle has had to undergo a "Type Approval" in addition to any MOT test, which would have been pointless (and a waste of money to boot) if it wasn't going to be driven on the public highway.... that was kinda my point?
