BAM again and again Mr Tarrou comes to the rescue. I'm coming back to this trig video and it just helped me solve a problem in Calculus 2 in the last section converting polar to rectangular BAM!
WoooW...THANK YOU:) I really appreciate the offer to share my link with your son and your tutorees! My wife is currently researching other avenues and places to share my channel with....so help from subscribers like yourself is truly appreciated. We feel like everyone, everywhere should have access to FREE MATH HELP whenever they need it and have an easy way to find it.
I have just started watching the video but man - the chalk hand-written title of the lecture is outstanding. It's the most beautiful piece of chalkboard content I so far have seen.
Thanks you so much for your kind words and appreciation! If you need a break from math I have a few cursive videos you can practice with yourself...BAM!!! ...and don't forget to sub and share this free channel with everyone:D
crazylazy007 THANK YOU for that compliment!!! ...I really appreciate the Like, subscribe, all your support, viewership and sharing:D...that's the kind of help I need from all my viewers in order to groW my channel and continue to offer FREE math help to everyone, everywhere, anytime...BAM!!!
Mr. Tarrou, I'm taking an online pre-calc class, and so now I have been calling you my teacher this whole semester. You have no idea what a difference finding your videos has made! You deserve a medal!
+Palepaige thanks for taking the time to study and share your learning experience with me! Instead of that medal...please take the time to like, subscribe, support the ads and share this free educational channel with everyone to help us grow and remain free...BAM!!!
Professor RobBob ,thank you for another incredible video/lecture on Converting Equations Between Polar and Rectangular Form. These concepts are classical and historic in Pure and Applied Mathematics.
You're welcome...thanks for watching and I hope you continue to choose Tarrou's Chalk Talk to watch and learn from in the future and if so, be sure to show your support by subscribing and sharing:D
Mr Tarrou! Your whole channel has been my savior this semester. I'm nearing the end of my summer compacted college trig course, and my professor has been... well, less than stellar and the book isn't much help. Your videos have been so much help. I have recommended your channel to all of the students I'm in class with who're also struggling with the rapid pace of our course. I appreciate the fact that even though a lot of prerequisite knowledge on earlier material is required to do any given topic, you don't skimp on reminding viewers why certain functions, equations, etc. are the way they are. Your explanations that you give as you do these problems have been a tremendous help. Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
THANK YOU so much for watching, supporting, sharing my channel with your class, taking the time to comment and "thank the teacher" HollowPoint503 ! It's always nice to hear that all this hard work is making a difference and helping so many students. I'm starting my 19th year of classroom high school teaching and still very much enjoy it but UA-cam has taken it to a whole new level of amazement...I still can't believe that I can teach students all over the world from my small home office in Florida! I never dreamed I would still be doing this 3 years and almost 500 videos later...but students like you continually reinforce why I do :) Keep spreading the word so I continue to groW and share my passion for math...BAM!!!
Austin Bishop thanks for taking the time to find outside help and for watching and subbing! You're so welcome and please share my channel with all your friends in class and remind them to like and sub too:D
You're welcome Dohyun Kim and thanks for watching, learning and subbing! Keep studying and practice, practice, practice...than, BAM!!! you'll "get" it:)
THANK YOU for saying so Stephanie Iglesias ! Glad I could help you pass that trig class but there would be no me if students like YOU didn't study...BAM!!! Thanks for choosing Tarrou's Chalk Talk to help you learn! Don't forget to Like, SUBSCRIBE and share with others to help my channel groW and help others like you:D
There you go...saying my favorite 3 words in a sentence..."MATH IS FUN"...(besides "I love you" from my wife of course!) Thanks for supporting by subscribing and now that you have you can just watch any one of my 424 videos whenever you need a learning fix, and it will be just like I am your own personal teacher forever! SPREAD THE WORD!
I learn more from youtube than the classes I pay out of my butt for. Thank you for sharing all of the information with everyone who is seeking help. It makes a difference.
BAM!!! You're welcome...and THANK YOU for taking advantage of it! And I appreciate the subscribe and support...please continue to spread the word to others and help me groW:D
You are welcome...and thank you so much for letting me know how much my channel has helped you and for all your continued support. I do have a printable postcard that you could download and print on my facebook fan page if you would want to put one up on a bulletin board or just have something on paper. (since you offered to spread the word)...all together we can spread the word to infinity and beyond:D
I do not know how to thank you Prof. Rob ...but THANK YOU SO SO MUCH you've been great, your videos have helped me a lot, you just make learning so much fun ...I thank God for you. God bless you sir.
You're welcome...but you were the one that found my channel, I was just there to provide the help! Thanks for liking my videos and I hope you will continue to watch, learn and share my channel with others:D
That's AWESOME news!!! Remember, you were the one that sought out extra help in the first place...and I was there to share my knowledge, and teach you some math:) Thanks for supporting and watching for 6 months and sharing with me and others how helpful my videos were! Please keep watching and sharing and continue to help me groW!

I don't think you can comprehend how much you've helped me through precalc, everything you do is so logical and I actually feel like I'm learning the material Thank you so much
+scorpionruler5 you are so welcome and please help us continue to grow and remain free by liking, subbing and sharing these free educational channels that you find helpful:D
I hope by the time you read this you went into class and aced that final! Thanks for supporting by liking and subscribing...and please continue to share my channel info with others you might know who could use a good UA-cam teacher:)

AWESOME Julian Korfine ...if all my viewers subscribed and spread the word like you, I'd have a million subscribers by now...lol Thanks for the support:) But with your help and the help of others like you we might reach our current goal of 100,000 subscribers by the end of the year...BAM!!!
Hey thanks for the help-I just show this to half the class and it makes everything so much easier especially since we can understand you -thanks a lot!
...what about the other half?...lol You're welcome...and THANK YOU Jon for subbing, liking and sharing my channel with your classmates! If everyone did that I would have a million subscribers by now:) I hope it helps you all get through the end of the year with a little more confidence...BAM!!!
Thank you very much sir. Already 3 weeks into our second semester here, and I am still making up work from an incomplete first semester grade due to travel. You've helped me a bunch. Thanks!
Absolutely amazing! I had a similar idea like this. By covering a lot or all of the math section and providing those information to everyone, students may receive help at any given time. Keep up the good work. If you cover more sections, then you could potentially become the universal online math class.
Our dream is to someday have an "M" next to my subscriber number:) I'm still teaching full time and trying to get my Calculus videos done. Then I plan to move on to completing my Algebra playlist. If some bank wants to sponsor my channel I could take time off and make videos full time! My wife and I just try our best to keep the dream alive every single day:) Thanks for taking time to comment and support my efforts.
Sorry again about my first hasty answer that was incorrect. I will check another precalc book I have at school that hopefully will have a problem similar to yours. I hope the idea I had works but I am not positive. Your problem is harder than the ones I normally teach. Thanks for watching...
THANKS for the compliments and for watching Barry. my wife has worked hard answering all the comments and asking viewers to subscribe, share thru social medias, and with everyone, it took years to get our silver play award too..maybe if I sang the lessons I would have a million...BAM!!!
My PreCalc book does not get real difficult into these kinds of questions, but I would think you would have to use a double angle identity to get rid of that number. Like sin2x is 2sinxcosx.
I've learned more with watching your videos than sitting in my class. I've watched your video of conics section and when my test came it only took me 10 minutes to answer it all. I have to thank you for that. I'm starting to love math. :D
BAM!!! That's awesome news Diane, thanks for sharing your success!…and using the words "love" & "math" in the same sentance…every math teachers dream:) Thanks for supporting, watching, liking and subscribing! Please continue to help my channel groW by sharing my channel with your friends and classmates and tell them to show the same support and before we know it I'll have an "M" next to my subscriber count:D
THANKS! I have 452 videos and making new ones as fast as I can while teaching full time! You keep watching and telling your friends to watch and SUBSCRIBE:)
This really helped, polar to rectangular was the last chapter in my calc 2 class and it really wasn't explained very well how to go between the two equations. You gave a good variety that helps especially since I need to know this going into finals. Thanks for a good video explanation. BAM! Love the enthusiasm too hahaha
Your videos have saved me from several math tests this year! Thank you!! I especially liked how you included conic sections in this, as it's going to be on my final next week.
BAM!...how do you top that comment...so since you think so please share your enthusiasm with your friends:D and "Thank You" for subscribing and "liking" my videos.
Yes Amanda I look at demographics all the time, unfortunately the first time I saw your comment I was on my Ipad and Analytics were not loading. I wanted to look up some fresh stats for you and then forgot...so sorry for the long response time. I do have more female viewers in the US and Canada, but not be a big margin. There are many countries were my viewership is very dominated by males. The age groups are interesting as well...either fairly young or old with a dip in the 19's-30's
You're welcome...You have BAM!!! knowledge and power...you won't need luck:) After you pass please SUBSCRIBE, like and spread the word to everyone to go to Tarrou's Chalk Talk to find FREE math help on UA-cam:D
No need to steel...lol ...but please take the time to sub and share this free resource with other teachers too:D It's always nice to hear when a fellow teacher is inspired by ones teaching...BAM!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Having already learned a lot of this and then coming to your videos to get a good review will hopefully help me ace my trig test tomorrow!
Do you have an answer to check your work? You could multi both sides by r^2 giving you r*r^2=2rsinxrcosx. That would become (x^2+y^2)^(1/2)*(x^2+y^2)=2xy Then the left side could be (x^2+y^2)^(3/2)=2xy and then square both sides to have (x^2+y^2)^3=4x^2y^2.
Word of advice: Wearing the checkered shirts like the one in this video causes a lot of aliasing in the video. Doesn't detract from the awesomeness that is this channel
Thanks for the advice and the compliment Joe Schey ...That was one of my early videos and I was still learning myself...lol Thanks for watching and subbing too:)
+Joel Masopeh you are so welcome...all you have to do now is subscribe and share this channel with your classmates, then you could all watch my lessons together and I could be your UA-cam teacher...BAM!!!
I'm glad to hear that my videos are helping so much! Maybe you could help me too by sharing your story and my channel information with someone from your online course. You could suggest that they use my videos as a study reference:) That way other students could get help like you did....just a thought. Good luck with your class and thanks for choosing my channel to learn from!
THANKS for the compliment Tony G and thanks for watching, liking and subbing too! Please tell all your friends, class and teachers about my channel and please do the same, because that's what keeps us growing :D

ProfRobBob good flick, quick question.. How come the center is: (2,4) and not (-2,-4).. is it because you have to make -2 and -4 equal 0?
Professor RobBob ,thank you for another incredible video/lecture on Converting Equations Between Polar and Rectangular Form. These concepts are classical and historic in Pure and Applied Mathematics.

Great job and study effort made itssyoboymike :)
My PreCalc book does not get real difficult into these kinds of questions, but I would think you would have to use a double angle identity to get rid of that number. Like sin2x is 2sinxcosx.
Still the best around! BAM!
ThrownBrick thanks!
I've learned more with watching your videos than sitting in my class. I've watched your video of conics section and when my test came it only took me 10 minutes to answer it all. I have to thank you for that. I'm starting to love math. :D

Wow! Thank you so much, you helped me a lot with studying for my upcoming precal test!
Absolutely love his enthusiasm and excitement when he solves the problems!! 😂
