I think I may have been one of the first if not the first to ever fly there...., in May of 1972! I never saw another glider there, ever. I've been flying powered for decades, all in the mountains, and I still remember that glass smooth thick coastal air, and i still get an hour or two of dead stick ridge soaring in every year on the range behind my ranch in Idaho. Once a hang glider pilot, blah blah blah!

Wow that’s amazing. I know a few pilots that have been flying since early 70s. Marina is a special site.

Was about 45 min flight. Battery died two min before landing. Had another more entertaining flight the next day I’m going to list soon.
