I've been cooking for over 30 years and I've never seen that paper towel trick with the grease! That is SO SMART! I will definitely be doing this. 🥰

That's a trick I learned when I was young. So handy and less messy than other methods of removing grease.

It works really well. I’ve be cooking for 60 years. 👍🏻
It’s great for cast iron pans too. They like the grease so they actually end up soaking some of it in. The paper towel takes care of the excess so you can work on seasoning the little that’s left
Now that the weather is getting cooler I'd love to see a video on soups. Hope you're feeling better.

I just wanted to thank you for helping me to make real dinners more often lately! Your videos are straightforward and simple, usually with ingredients I have around, and make me feel less overwhelmed about cooking dinner. And although I have two Instant Pots, I’ve been slow cooking in them lately, because I’ve found I have less anxiety if I just get dinner going early, when I’m not already worn out and stressed from the day. Getting fast food less often, too! 👍🏻 I’m glad you’re feeling better! Thanks for the helpful videos!

I love that the recipes are so easy and soooo not stressful and I know this is going to take a lot of the mundane thoughts of (What should I make for dinner) away also because of the amazing ideas that even though I’ve been cooking for well over 40+ years I’m out of ideas and quite honestly I am bored to death with. @@yasmin8851 I made only one change which was to add cooked rice to the filling. It bulked it up and leftovers, I made small quesadillas which I then froze for later snacks or a quick breakfast. I'm making it again tonight.

I have to say, I love your trick about absorbing the extra grease with a paper towel. My whole life I have drained the ground beef over a bowl in the sink, and it gets messy. Ever since I saw your trick with a paper towel, I’ve been doing it that way.

After watching this video, I now understand why you have that large container of taco seasoning 😆 but that's a compliment - it shows how creative you are with cooking. I only have one cookie sheet but I think I'm gonna buy another one to try that sheet pan quesadillas. I saved this video.

I love making crunchwraps at home! Instead of cutting out a circle for the middle piece, I just cut one of the tortillas into quarters, it works just as well and there's no waste!

I made the ground beef casserole tonight using home canned potatoes (first time doing those was last year) also made my own cheddar cheese soup, hubby and I loved it. We also loved sheet pan loaded quesadillas. Great recipes Julia❤️

I got mine from the Dollar Tree also for $1. That was a good deal, because I’ve seen them for about $10 or more.
