I have generalized anxiety disorder and have always been terribly afraid of riding a bicycle. How freeing it would be to have one of these and finally be included in the world of biking.
Right there with you. I feel like I would feel more visible and safer on a trike. Though I also fear folks judging me soooo... I really really want to ride with my kids though
This review was AWESOME because you gave me the courage that I need to buy a trike. I would have loved for you to show us examples on the turns, the stopping power of the bike, just a demonstration of how much better it is for those of us who has balance issues and etc. I really wanted to see how fast the trike goes as well.
15 mph is slow?! How hecking fast are 2-wheelers riding?! Yeesh-speed demons! I’ve never owned or ridden a bike but I’m getting a tricycle for my 33rd birthday! Im so excited!
I would highly recommend a recumbent trike for seniors. Taking it easy, sitting back in a nice comfy chair whilst moving along at a leisurely pace. Can't beat it!
I recently bought one of your tricycles and I love it. Pedaling is definitely a bit more challenging but cruising around the block is perfect. Also, they are very cute and head turners.
Does yours have pedal assist? I’m considering their trike because it allows you to sit if you need to rest and sit and not worry about balance issues. But then if it’s that much harder to pedal than a bike then I’m not sure it’s the best idea
Because of knee injuries I haven't ridden a regular bike for several years. Got my trike, took it around the block, didn't think I was going that fast or that the turn was very sharp (my 9 year old could outpace me on her razor.) BUT when I tell you I lost control and was almost hit by a car, I am not exaggerating. This video talks a little bit about turning but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be safe and go to an empty parking lot or somewhere safe to practice turning. I nearly died in front of my kid! All I wanted was to be able to do be outside with her more despite my injuries. I wish I knew more about this issue before purchasing a trike. Just in case anyone is wondering, it was not a threesixzero trike but as he says it is an issue with ALL trikes.
I have been researching and thinking about a tricycle for a long time. Tonight, my research has kinda confused me. My local bike store has a Sun Tricycle I test drove and to get what I would want, a 7 speed and new it will most likely cost close to $1000.00. I just watched the video BEST ADULT TRICYCLES 2022/23. I also saw one on Craigslist which was one of the top ones a Schwinn Meridian for $65 and is newISH. Anyway, I appreciated your video, very good. I am going to check out your website, I never heard of 630 so, I am still researching. I live in Pinellas County FL and we have railways which were turned into bike trails, I have been riding for over 20 years. I am 70 on my birthday and now at 183 pounds, still got 20 pounds to lose, but I am thinking about getting off my 2 wheel bike for a trike. So, maybe TMI; but just wanted to thank you. I am 5'8"
I'm looking for one for my 11yr old autistic daughter. Regular kids tricycles are to small and i know this will be perfect. 👍She'll love it💖 thank you for all that great information. 😊
I want one so bad !! As soon as I can afford it .. right now I’m riding a schwinn Tri take my grandson around .. he loves it .. but never compared with your beautiful bikes !
Having the outside wheel unweight and "pop" up off the ground during a turn should not be a issue. In fact, that will actually help the bike navigate through the turn.
I have autism and brain damage so I can't balance or multitask enough to ride a bicycle. I bought one of these a few days ago but I have to wait for the service people to put it together.
Good video, but one thing to mention. Do not ride a trike ACROSS a hill, as in my opinion that's the easiest way to tip a trike over. I know that because it happened to me and I landed up with a couple of cracked ribs. You really to need to remember that most trikes cant 'lean' like a bike. !!
We're sorry to hear about what happened. We hope that everything is okay now. Thank you for sharing this tip. We appreciate it. Have fun riding and keep safe!
I'm waiting for my adult tricycle to come in and I am looking forward to riding around on it. I'm a short heavy set woman and I am looking to use the bike as a form of exercise
I legit cant balance on a normal bike i tried everything I ended up selling the bike because it was impossible to but with a tricycle its not a problem im genuinly suprised that they are not more widely used. Its way easyier to ride.
I'm 72 years old and 245 pounds. I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these but unsure if my long legs are going to be a problem. I've tried taking your fitment test but unable to ever complete the thing. I currently have a very well used Schwinn Meridian and figured the extra speeds would be pretty OK.
Can you do some fall-like to understand at what speed it's actually a problem of falling? Some stability videos. I'm looking to buy one for an old lady and don't want to put her at any risk. She has a bit of a valley on her road and a bit of a sharp turn after
Hello! We do have another model for a tricycle, this one has a lower step-through and is recommended for riders who have balancing concerns, you may want to check this one: www.sixthreezero.com/collections/womens-bikes/products/sixthreezero-body-ease-26-7-speed-tricycle?variant=31910339772551.
I just purchased my first adult tricycle after 40+ years of bicycle riding. I lost my ability to balance, developed a drop foot (left) and became unable to lift my right leg up very high. My bicycle riding days were over. I got a trike from a local bike shop. They assembled it for me and then delivered it two days ago. The step thru was low enough for me to get on the trike by stepping on the low point of the frame. I wondered if it were possible to step on the left pedal and get on that way -- similar to mounting a horse. I noticed in the video you demonstrated that same technique. The pedals on my trike are basic, inexpensive plastic pedals; not sure they would hold up. Would you recommend switching the cheap pedals for some which are sturdier? But in any event, I really enjoy being able to get around my immediate neighborhood more speedily than using a rollator (4 wheel walker). 🙄
Thanks for watching. The pedals should be able to hold up even if they are plastic made. You may opt to switch to a more sturdier one if you are going to be more comfortable with it.
Dustin, thanks for the amazing vid. Are they heavy? I live in a 2nd story apartment and don't have a lot of storage options. Is it something a fairly strong woman could carry up and downstairs?
What I am having problems on my tricycle is the tires keep going flat because there are goat weeds everywhere and they blow the seeds onto the road and flatten my tires. What kind of tires would not get flat with those spikey seeds?
Why do all the tricycles I'm seeing have the handlebars up high like that? I don't have the strength in my arm to keep them up high like that. It's a trike, not a bike, so I would think that a higher handlebar wouldn't be as essential for good steering control.
Hi Luci! You can check our website here for bike locks: www.sixthreezero.com/accessories/locks. These are easy to use bike locks. Thanks for watching! :)
The locks I saw on your website, don't look like they will go through all 3 wheels and allow room to lock to something. Can you show pictures of the bikes locked using your recommended locks ??
Thank you , this was great advice , you can tell you really love trikes and care about your clients . I have aaalways admired this form of transport and am looking for something safe and comfortable for my medium sized dog family member ;D how much is one like that please sir ?
Hi from down under. I have mostly ridden road bikes up till about 60yo. I'm now 69yo. I bought a trike and find it more scary than the 2 Wheeler. Example. My drive, though paved is not level but dips to allow water drainage. I can't control the trike when each side wheel isn't level. How do I master this as some foot paths are like this. Thank you.
We don't think it's embarrassing! Check out our fb group to see pics and see what other trike riders have to say: facebook.com/groups/sixthreezeropedalers
Hi! Thanks for watching. The tricycle is not foldable so if you plan to put it inside the van, it might not fit. We recommend you installing a hitch bike rack. Thank you. :)

You're wrong to say that on a bicycle you need to get your feet on the ground while seated. You can get.your butt off the seat and straddle the frame. Come on, man...
