Dressed in the lovely gowns given to her she is radiantly beautiful. Something that is often overlooked in most of the commentaries which concentrate mostly on her magnificent voice.

However, when you watch the videos of her being interviewed or at home she just seems like a teenage girl of her age. She is beautiful and humble, and shares with the viewers. Hi Greg - yes, simply magnificent - we have some footage of Amira singing Nessum Dorma at her recent Radio 702 interview where she is actually singing acapella as the music backing track was'nt switched on - and I was 2 metres from her when she sang it - her power is just mind blowing and an experience that I will cherish forever - footage will be released soon for ALL to enjoy
I just got done listening to this song done by several different top artists and a mira can sing with any of them, At her age she can be ranked in my opinion with the best opera singers out there, I just listen to Sarah Brightman's version along with Several male versions and the mirrors tone and pitch is unique and mesmerizing
Yes Rainier - what is so impossible to understand is that this level of accomplishment that Amira has reached, at the tender age of 13 when this performance was done, is done as if its easy or normal - and dare I say it that even us fans we have become accustomed to her unbelievable standard and that we are not gobsmacked anymore as she reels off performance after performance that is so NOT normal - I experienced it firsthand in the Radio 702 studio in January this year when standing one and a half meters from Amira when she delivered Nessum Dorma - the raw power is awe inspiring and then the tone, voice control and timing - all immaculately brought together by Amira - it IS more than GREATNESS - whatever that NEXT level is over GREATNESS I'm not sure, but that is what we are witnessing - and go back to that HGT Audition of 2013 and be GOBSMACKED again - then Andre Rieu in 2014 - again be gobsmacked.........

Amira has life and passion in her voice, that to me is the difference between her and Jackie and Laura. They seem to struggle trying to get their voice out and everything is the same. Amira theres no effort at all. She just takes off I get tingles like you Emerson. The power with no effort, the last part is so hard to sing especially a young lady of 13, it was written for a man a tenor. How does she do it, a miracle really.
I think that that is the difference with Amira, Power and voice control and the high notes along with her unique tone makes her one of a kind. And to top it all off she has a golden heart, Even at a very young age wants to donate part of her money to the children of South Africa to help them and joy their lives Also. Hi, Ray, I've drepression and I've been fighting a battle against this illness for the last 15 years, I've tryied all kind of medicine as possible for get better but the only thing that actualy help me out is music indeed, listen to Amira and reactiing to her performances and others great singer get me a little of peace at day in the process, because that I continue doing reactions videos (Even after youtube deleting my old channel with 15 thousands of subscribers duet to copyright strikes) Music is the key at least in my caseI. Amira is one of the best EVER and her music has helped me a lot lately! Cheers.

He was my introduction to opera, but not the best, by today's standards. When I lived in New Mexico, I used to go to the Santa Fe Opera. They have an unusual open-air opera house. Don't miss it if you get a chance to see it. I also struggle with depression, and music does me as much good as sunshine. Have you reacted to the collaboration between Freddie Mercury & the superb Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballe` in their album "Barcelona? Granted he was a "rock god" and no opera singer, but he certainly didn't embarrass himself, & most of the album is quite good. There were two editions, first in 1987-88, with just piano & synthesizers, then remastered in 2012 with full orchestra. I would suggest the second one. Oboe, bassoon, heavenly strings! They are studio recordings, so the videos that appear to be live really aren't. But somebody worked a bit of magic to make them well worth watching. "Ensueno" is lovely, composed by Freddie for Montse as "Exercises in Free Love" a brilliant falsetto track. Then she added Spanish lyrics. They adored each other.
Hi, actualy the Barcelona duet with Freddie & Montserrat is my favorite ever! It was the first time that a powerful rock voice sang together with a powefull soprano opera voice, Freddie was a huge fan of opera and Montserrat mainly, they became very close friends after they met. I get chills just thinking on that performance and on "How Can I Go On" by them as well. Freddie is my idol, I think after Maria Callas, Montserrat is my favorite female soprano ever.
@@ZeusReact If you like Freddie and Montserrat's Barcelona then I suggest you listen, if you haven't yet, to Amira and Ruhan sing it at the Il Divo concert last year. I say listen, because the vision is unfortunately poor. But the vocal duet is fabulous. Ruhan has a great voice, perfect for this song, and well, Amira, of course, is spectacular in the operatic pieces, as good as Montserrat in my opinion. The video quality doesn't make it appropriate for your reactions, but just listen to it and see what you think. I, like many of Amira's fans, can't stop listening to it. There's talk of them repeating it at Classics is Groot this year, I hope they do, as the vision will be priceless!
