@@saffronifer it's all that Navy Poppa needs, the bass i mean. Get it?
So glad you said that. Its the hook to which everything is tied in this song.
His face says it all😂
‼️‼️💯
“We are all very lucky to live in a world where there is this much music”
~John Frusciante
uno de los mejores guitarristas de las tres últimas décadas
I remember one time, Thom enjoying so much RHCP playing Dani California at the Jools Holland. When we see geniuses enjoying geniuses is awesome.
Exactly! Music really keeps us moving on!
Yes we are love
Yes today we can find millions and millions of different songs and records and listen to them whenever we want easily through the internet that’s absolutely fantastic isn’t it??
Therapy is expensive, but this video is free. Such a beautiful world to live in.
I watched this the day before my first therapy session a few weeks ago. Shit calmed me down so much. You’re so correct.
World is actually pretty shitty. People like Thom make it beautiful
my friend introduced me to this song and it's my favorite ever since..
we're lucky.
might need therapy AFTER that
The only song in the world that can cure depression.
this song fucks me up in ways i cannot even describe
Evidently
It's crazy.
Vintagebeef. Thank you
Another BeefyTunes fan
One of my favourite youtubers and one of my favourite bands combined. Ive learned to listen to all beefy tunes recommended, man has good taste 👌
That long shot on Colin at 3:13 showing the build up and transition to the outro is my favorite shot in this whole session. The way he just drops that groove and digs into it... love it. Elite group of musicians.
Colin is the secret weapon
@@mr.b7586debo decir q no habia visto de este modo, peroo es verdad, toooooda la razón
One of the best outros I've heard in a song ever
Lucasmkv , I love the intro too
Yup.
Weird fishes is better imo. It ties the song together and this one isn't as fulfilling
Definitely one of their best songs
Always imagined it in a game trailer
Whoever the audio engineer for this space is, he's a fucking legend.
Nigel Godrich. From the basement is his show and he was also radiohead's producer for many of their albums which is why he brought them on for two episodes, and why the mix is just so perfect
Notice he mimicked Thom's vocals for the piano mic, same reverb level and everything.
It's such a great set. Every song sounds so warm here. Shame we never got AMSP
Me and my Mom were homeless and Jumping all over family’s Homes, but nobody really wanted me and my mom’s Problems on their Plates. Understandable... I would listen to this Video Religiously Almost everyday when I was 17 and were going through all that my mom was all I needed. She passed away a few years back. But the hard times were the Most closest I’ve ever been to her. Radiohead seriously Helped with mostly all of my Emotions. I thank Radiohead and my mom.
💗
God bless you,
I hope you're doing well, much love to you stranger, this comment is all I need
I put my 16 yr old daughter on to Radiohead. Life's mission complete.
Congrats, Sir. That's very noble of you 😎.
She doesn't need depression for such age
@@julianleil7847 music only brings out what's already within you. My daughter is quite full of joy and loves different styles of music.
@@lambro3001 INdeed!
@@julianleil7847 Damn! What a lame comment! One of the lamest I've read this year, so far... Year 2020, just imagine.
This song is just perfect in every part. Jonny alternating between piano and glockenspiel (I guess), Colin's bassline, Phil's awesome groove, Ed's atmospheric and necessary guitar parts, Thom's passionate melodies and the intense and beautiful outro. It gives so much it's incredible!
Not just alternating, playing them both at once!
I remember my ex and i were starting to fight. We were in the car and this was being in the background. I think that was the most cinematic experience that ive got so far
wow
goosebumps
"It's wrong, it's right,..."
Life's funny that way sometimes, ain't it?
I'm the next act
Waiting in the wings
I'm an animal
Trapped in your hot car
I am all the days
That you choose to ignore
You are all I need
You are all I need
I'm in the middle of your picture
Lying in the reeds
I am a moth
Who just wants to share your light
I'm just an insect
Trying to get out of the night
I only stick with you
Because there are no others
You are all I need
You are all I need
I'm in the middle of your picture
Lying in the reeds
It's all wrong
It's all right
It's all wrong
It's all wrong
It's all right
It's all wrong
It's all wrong
It's all right
It's all wrong
It's all right
🥰
Dark Dark Dark.
Beautiful
Thank you
The way Thom switches seamlessly from his lead mic to the piano is fantastic. That is not an easy thing to do live.
If you are still listening to this in 2021, you are a legend...
thx man :). you too!
The bass line alone has helped me deal with the pandemic
I remember listening to live bootlegs of this as a teenager before the album came out. This bassline is still the bomb!
Gets me through sad nights
2022 idiot
Great song...heard this one at MSG for the first time in 2018 front row
Song brings me back to the early days of youtube. How much has changed since then!
Have a good day!
Out of all the places I'd expect you to be I didn't expect you here
@@afaniscool this is epic
yooo LA beast cultured as hell haha
Doesn't matter what mood I'm in, every time I hear this song I cry.
beefy tunes!
All Beefed up for listening to this. Thanks VB! 🎉🎉🎉
The shortest 4 minutes and 20 seconds ever.
well yes, but actually yes
I know, right!?!?

This song always makes me happy, this isn't depressing to me... I just love the music

From the one and only, Vintage Beef
I was born in 06 and I have heard and loved Radiohead all my life, but this song, it may not be their best or most progressive, this song sticks, I never forget it; it keeps me hopeful, nostalgic and sad at the same time.
quite profound for a 14 year old
@@limepicklecrumpetbombaderr9429 thx I think
@@redhippopotamus9144 ay a fellow 14 year old

In Rainbows is a masterpiece.
If heaven exists, it sounds like this
What a depressed place to be after you die.
I hope so
Not depressing- serene-imo
3:23 love the bass face
Its called "Soul"
@@wahyunurf920soul and perfection
2022 and still listening, what can I do? This is a masterpiece!
i find it insane that its even possible to make xylophone go with drum and guitar really well
Radiohead music makes me get back to life, takes me out of my automatic life, returns me my humanity by making me feel sad. It remembers me that I'm still alive.
If you are listening to this at any point in time, you are doing something right
That guitar adds a special touch in this version, it sounds darker, I like it 💪
"I am all the days you choose to ignore" sums up all my romantic interests when it came to me.
Other than the ghost walking by in the back at 2:04, hands down my top 5 favorite songs!
Hasta cambia la música en ese segundo que pasa la sombra 😅😰
Best song I've ever heard
Really?
This is better than creep imo
Incredible...
2:02 ah, the infamous ghost passing by lol
imagine passing by a door with radiohead playing in the room
@@pedroamri u just blew my mind lol
Even ghosts love radiohead
looks like they....... give up the ghost. lol
And Colin Greenwood on bass is Everything! in this song.
how is this better than the album version when the album in its entirety is already perfect???
It just is....
The sonic quality of the bass groove is very nice on this version.
I AM ALL THE DAYS
that you choose to ignore
The Emin9 - G - C9 chord progression in the outro spreads such a melancholic power. All I need.
Best group ever to produce and record music in the last forty years. Luv this song
Last night the love of my life asked me in the car to play ONE SONG that described how I felt about her. Recently we've been throwing around the word married... and she isn't saying no❤ thanks Tom York❤❤❤
Thom - moody, uplifting, bassy, extra bonus Ed noise = perfection. The ultimate band, song, version and atmosphere! Thank you Radiohead
Here from the most Vintage of Beefs and the biggest of salmon
i feel like i wana swim into the melody, then fly around the tempo and every beat. all i need is one of my fav songs of all time
I believe this will live on for another hundred years. Happy hearing new gen, we had a blast listening to this as well.
i get goosebumps when the bassline comes in... every. damn. time.
what a happily depressing way to express trying to show what you’ve given in someone’s life when they are turning away. the song is a perfect 10/10. i could think radiohead wrote this and said “let’s see chris martin do that.”
3:28 I really love how he just jams out to the music, and really feels the song.
Gotta love Thom Yorke
Radiohead healed me from death i will never forget
I go through phases with different Radiohead songs and this one is officially the latest. The lyrics of this song is so beautiful to me. And the way Collin just jams out to in this song is life!
Most difficult part of music is that when you lose someone you can't experience it the same way. You run away from something that you've listened with years because it hurts you unintentionally...
Welcome to the Radiohead level. At this level the best lead guitarist ever can instead play piano & xylophone. I wonder how many instruments they can all they play combined!
Seen and heard this a million times but have a new appreciation for the bass line today.
Need to add some more (Vintage)Beef comments to the video!!!
So true ❤
@@Hermitcraft_X hey stinky
It’s hard being a Radiohead fan- ill be happy but their songs always remind me of a time I’ve cried :[
In rainbows is a brilliant album. One of my favourites!
This song can bring me to tears a lot. Not because it's sad, but because it's beautiful
Listening to this whilst high opens up a doorway to a new level of appreciation. And ironically its 4:20 long
Have you watched the nude video from this same set
I love this band
So hauntingly beautiful. Lucky to be born in the Radiohead era to get to hear their transcendent music.
Beefy tunes
We live in a world that can produce things as cool as Thom Yorke. We should remember that from time to time. Makes everything so much more bearable.
Radiohead got me through everything in my life. My hardest moments to my best and greatest moments back to my hardest. Thom thank you seriously.
2:03 even ghosts like Radiohead
That bass tho.... can feel it in my plums
Been a long time electronica fan, and got introduced to Radiohead from their Kid A album. This however is in my top 5 tracks ever
radiohead is what I need now
This band continues to impress me with their creative lyrics and melodies. Keep it up Radiohead!
I’ve listened to them since I was 14 and 7 years later I re-discovered this album and song and it became one of my absolutely favorites!
i hope the outro never ends
I wish I could listen to this song again for the first time. How has it been 13 years?
big salmon send their regurds
God this takes me back...still my fav album ever
idk how people come out of the video to comment that life is good and they're happy, mfk this is THE saddest song I've heard in my entire life and god knows I know a few
I'm crying, so much of radiohead at once 💜
Absolutely one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard!
One of the most incredible songs I’ve ever listened to. Live version sounds just as amazing as studio.
Colin's face while performing is the mood of this song
I still remember the day I hear this song in a concert Years Ago, it was so deep and calm...
Further proof how radiohead are miles above any other band, every member of the band is a genius.
awesome is right here,, in 2021...
strange that the reason I'm coming back to this video is because of the recent tribute mashup that someone did for MF DOOM's recent passing, as it used this song for the beat.
One of my favorite performances of all time man
beefy tunes!!
Each time I listen this masterpiece, I cry
I find Radiohead songs greater than my memory with them
One of the best songs ever made and is timeless
Great version! Thanks, Beefers.
Such a painfully beautiful song. Sounds better live, too.
Well if that isn't musical perfection I don't know what is....
Beautiful,
even playing the xylophone themselves
I can't explain how much I love this
hope you know their work. there's a lot that's this good. if you can believe it...
After a couple years in SD quality, now I can cry on HD. :D
Every time I'm down I play this. Gorgeous song
greatest band ever, in rainbows from the basement is brilliant as usual from them :)
Never been this early on a Radiohead video
Their magic is irresistible, especially in this song.
God, I love this song so much.
Such a great band 👏 love everything about it ❤
Collin at 3:22 really feeling it. I think most of us made the same expresion.
so good, yet so underrated
