i could live with him getting killed fast, if the plot held water we see Curtis as this menacing and calculating psycho, then he simply attacks a dominant gang in another city heads on, with just his buddy on the side? in what universe would this work? in a better written plot Curtis would come up with a more inteligent plan, like try and reach out to Dushane's biggest rivals in London, for example... or even play dirty and involve the cops in order to squeeze Dushane somehow. OR they may not have known that Lauryn has these "gangster friends", which would add an element of surprise this would still make sense but simply jumping into this situation head first only to get this head chopped off looked rather idiotic and lazy on the writers' part (because let's face it - given the way Curtis went about it he had it coming soon in every possible scenario, even if Lauryn wouldn't have summoned courage to trick him)
Coming to London and robbing ruthless drug dealers like Sully and Dushane was only going to end one way for Curtis. Just shocked Lauryn was the one who did it. Next season I reckon the sister and her bloke will be next.
It's because there's been no trouble or turf wars since Jamie got arrested. Duhsane said it in the first episode when he meets Jamie. 6 months and not one death. So yeah they got sloppy. Ironically like the turks in season 1
His death really doesn make sense to me. He was very cautios and smart to get played like that by Lauryn. Not to mention that his sister would never let him go alone. Sounds like bad writing to me
Dushane was smart, he didn't have many P's to move so he must have found ways to make money outside of drugs. Also Curtis didn't wanna hurt Lauryn because she was the mother to his baby, so really without Lauryn they wouldn't have the baby and if the sister decided to come along Lauryn could do anything from killing herself to calling the cops etc... if Lauryn didn't have the baby Curtis wouldn't have any use for her.

I loved this season but Curtis should of survived I loved his character every scene he was in was so intimidating I felt like he was gonna kill or hit someone at any moment but he just does an intense staredown it’s a shame he’s gone I would of loved to see him take a big role in S5
