The "Boss" themes in Hiveswap so far - this and Living Legend - are *unreasonably* massive bangers, even by Homestuck standards. Props to this one especially for keeping up the rhythmic groove of the rest of Act 2's soundtrack.
It’s one of those things were it’s like, an unnecessary banger. Like, nobody said it had to be this good, there was no bar for it to sound this good, but James was like *god dammit if I’m not about to make the banger of the decade*, and then he did
@@insertnamehere1398 You ever think about that you saying it's a spoiler actually spoilers more than the actual comment? Uninformed people just think it's a funny comment. By mentioning it's a spoiler, you inform them of the fact that it's actually a spoiler.
@reiv yeah but what if you haven't seen that secret ending and you just wanted to listen to the boss theme and the suprise was ruined for you (not personal i watched a playthrough and saw it all for myself)
Hmm, seeing as though Dammek likely isn't as anti violence as Joey is, maybe we might get more non-puzzle strifes in Hauntswitch? Or at least more... exciting ones. Unless Dammek turns out to be a total wuss, which im kinda prepared for :/
Difficult for me to figure out, but this was one of my favorite puzzles in the game. Every time I was able to figure out something I could do I felt so excited.
I didn't notice how awesome this music was when playing the game because the puzzle was atrocious but wow. Putting the best music at the worst parts seems to be becoming a pattern. Edit: 1:49 sounded like someone was tapping my window.
It’s actually not English; it’s Act 1’s “Rustblood” motif in a different key. It’s in the same key as the version in “Keep Your Head Down”: ua-cam.com/video/OZZVF_Am_a8/v-deo.html
i thought it wuz pretty fun or maybe the music just made the experience a lot better for me than the actual puzzle itself ig the puzzle wuz pretty ez, for the fact that it wuz basically a "final boss" if i can call it that *defeat sum giant monster at the end of the game? that's basically a final boss!*
it didn't suck, it was just a one-solution puzzle. if the devs hadve given themselves more time to work on the game it probably wouldve had a couple more solutions, like the rest of the game has
@@Cheesemongle Nah, it sucked hard. Steps that made no sense, steps that could only be done at a certain point even though they should've worked earlier. Even an alpha shouldn't have a puzzle like that. Dancing outside of a door to activate an inanimate hula dancer who wouldn't even be able to see you if she were alive & isn't even plugged into anything is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
@@D_YellowMadnessThat's cause tapdancing is really shaky or something(??) and causes it to go unsteady. Still stupid, it didn't look like something you could interact with.

ive been waiting for this song since one of jame’s old demo reels LOL

I think that this track was called "brother can u spare me some strife" before. there is a small preview of this track in james roach's 2018 recap
too bad that video seems to be gone now
Yeah, I really wonder why he took it down
It was I remember it
@@Clownin-round it's really a shame that they renamed it- the old name was so much cooler

Dammek is, from what we hear about him, a possibly abusive, revolutionary gun freak. That man is gonna be the loose cannon to Jude's paranoia.
Dammek's just straight up going to have a gun, isn't he?
It wouldn't be Dammek if he didn't have a gun. Remember, he'll be showing up on Earth in Pa's attic, which is FULL of guns.
Oh man, That's Lucky for Dammek.
I can't wait for some Dammek content man..
