I love how honest and open you both are. Ellie's PCOS, when you would try for another baby, Jared's attitude change from when he was a kid, Ellie's bathroom habits (haha) and now Jared's job. I can relate to this SO much! I'm driving myself insane managing my two channels while working full time and doing some freelance on the side. Something has to get cut out of the equation and I know it's going to be my job. I'm at that awkward stage where I'm making more money online than I do at my full time job. I know I'm going to take the leap and quit my job sometime soon, but maybe not quite yet. My student loans are eating me alive, hahaha.
But I am so ridiculously happy for you guys! Why waste your life doing something you don''t really like when the opportunity to do what you love is right there in front of your face? Wooo!

Irasema Yanez For me, I based it around my hobby, which is art. You need to find that interest of yours and center it around that. It can be tricky though, because not everyone has a hobby/interest. Maybe you haven't thought of the right idea because it's something different from the channels you usually watch. Try to think of the things and activities you like and value the most. It's got to be something you really like, or else you won't really be motivated to do it for years to come.

I hope you didn't hurt yourself but it was funny! also I love how you guys are making this step with youtube it is very inspirational and I hope that I could do the same. I fell inlove with this community and I have read the book who moved my cheese and it is such an amazing book and from the quote you stated I am doing youtube because I am not afraid. I took this step in youtube and I was so scared to start my own channel and now I started making videos and I love it. You made sure you had both personal and professional support before going into this (Did that sentence make sense to you ?) and we only live once. Nobody wants to pass away thinking of the things the regret not doing. We support you guys, we, as your subscriber community, will help you the best that we can.

The thing i absolutley adore and love about you guys, is that from the very first video i watched of yalls (it was before yall found out yall were expecting Jackson) up until this very day, is that no matter how many subscribers or views you guys received, you always stay the same humble, down to earth, kind hearted people! I think a UA-cam career is the perfect job, esp being parents! You get to stay home with your babies, spend amazing quality time together, and you guys dont have to worry about missing all the firsts with jackson and jelly bean! One thing I love about you two is that you listen to your fans and supporters. You reply to a lot of comments and take suggestions. I saw a comment earlier that asked why you asked your parents for their blessing.. I wanted to comment on it then but got busy!
I think it is such a wonderful thing asking your parents for their blessing and/or advise. It truly shows what a wonderful family you have and how close you all are!! People forget that even when you're grown, with a family of your own, you still want and need your parents. You still want to please everyone that you care about. You don't want to worry them unnecessarily. I think it is so wonderful to see such a close nit family. Even more wonderful to see two families come together so easily and be a new, bigger family.
I enjoy your vlogs very much! I love seeing your family grow and evolve. :) I am so happy to see you take this on and plan to continue!

I can only imagine how hard of a decision this was for you. Just enjoy your time together, especially with your kid(s) because time flies right now while your kid(s) are young. If I could go back and "do UA-cam" while my kids were babies I wouldn't hesitate!! If your UA-cam journey is short-lived (which I doubt it will) it will still be something you will never regret. Good luck to you guys and you have tons of support :)

Its amazing that you have a backup plan; i can relate to you a lot, i also ask for blessings to my family before making big desicions in life because from all people parents always know and want the best for us. I have always say that ypu guys are amazing and everyday you make me feel so bless that i am subscribe to you.
I'm very happy for you both! I support you 100%. There are so many things I would do if I wasn't afraid like pursue my dream of working with animals and being a zookeeper but that would mean I wouldn't be able to be so close to home and my family means so much to me. They have helped me so much. I had gotten pregnant at the beginning of my high school year and had my son in July which was a month after graduation , my parents and family stuck by my side through thick and thin and supported me and now my sons 4.5 months old and now all that matters to me is giving him the best life possible and I believe that is what you are both doing for Jackson and that precious little baby you're expecting. You both are such amazing parents don't let anyone tell you differently!
I love watching you and think you are right to try something that as a family are so passionate about you put so much Into your videos and so enjoyable to watch .

Thank you for sharing, Jared and Ellie :) Ive watched since day 1 and will continue watching and I truly love Ellie and Jared and their families and so on. However, JUST MY OPINION, I am not too stoked that they have chose to pursue UA-cam full time. I think 1) it creates fake content, sometimes I feel like people vlog because they have to or try to do fun things, because they have to film exciting stuff - and then it's harder to relate 2) going out to eat and hanging out at home and going on trips all the time - again harder to relate to... And the whole reason I started watching is because I could relate to you guys. Now, of course, I would also be super stoked about this opportunity and, well, it's relatively easy money and it's less stress and so on. Of course. Im not saying I don't understand or I wouldn't do it. I'm just afraid to lose the Ellie and Jared I started watching. Also, gosh I know I'll get so much hate for this - but there are so many (too many) get ready with me, how to do make-up, beauty hall, beauty favorites chanels... SO SO MANY. I love Ellie and Jared for their daily life and working and being simple. I don't need another make up video, I watch those on other chanels... Sorry. Will always watch and support, but that is just what I think.

I've been blogging (yes, old fashioned words with no live animation) for almost ten years. Although I've not had anywhere NEAR the following you have, I have developed some wonderful friendships and deepened relationships with people in my life through that medium. The key, to me, is transparency. I know of many people who support their family through internet pursuits but you guys are the first I've ever seen be honest about it. THIS is your mission field. What you do here is intentional and purposeful and it does impact the world. I'm not of the same faith as you but I have - based on watching you guys steadily for a few weeks - explored deeper into your religion because I see the joy that is in your family. The world craves Godly examples and I really think that is what you were called to do. The people who watch you - those are divine appointments - opportunities that you have every day to make an impact. I'm glad you made the decision to do this full time.
