25 seconds in, the slickest Trombone section you will ever hear of any marching band in the world that ever was. Fantastic playing! One of the few things left that makes me feel proud to be British.

Lovely video with excellent audio quality. It's a shame that a child had fun whistling with a flute in the background, and it ruined the music. I'm astonished that the parents didn't do anything.

Many thanks, Military Events, for the superb coverage of what in my opinion was a splendid event in terms of the guards, the band, and the music played, despite the slight distraction already aired in some of the comments below. As ever, I also feel that thanks are due to all those behind the organisational arrangements, including the police, security and volunteers for keeping this a safe and in the main good-natured event for all, in spite of the oppressive heat on the day.

Wonderful music and wonderful videos. I never get tired of watching them. I watch them over and over and I love the music. Thank you for all your hard work.

The 1st march is by Alford -- the Mad Major.

SUPERB sound on the Scots Guards Band!

  • @dh1380

Who is the soldier who during every one of these has to awkardly jog in to post with the guard? In this video they visible near the back at juat after one minute.

  • @Grenadier_

my only critique, which is not your fault at all, was that rather annoying squeaking sound someone was making. I know they (i assume it is a child) wants to "play" along, but it unfortunately ruined the last near 5 minutes of this for me

Another good recording, with some different tunes to normal. Thank you.

A great Video, Thanks Military Events! The Band of the Scots Guards is definitely one of the most popular Bands in the Household Division & my favourite Drum Major SSGT Gareth Chambers MVO (1B IG, WO2) seems to be rather popular too. I was trying to count the Trombones, as the Scots quite often march 6 abreast, but I think they're sticking with the Normal 5 this Parade. The thing I love the Most about Victoria Barracks, is the Arch the Band comes through, it usually coincides with the opening Bars of the 1st March & the Acoustics are bloody Magic, picks you up & shakes you, I Love It!! Tubas & Euphoniums sound Great, Trombones very smooth & nice, I could hear every note from the Flutes, nice mellow Clarinets, The Horns were great, in fact the Whole Band was Brilliant & to me it was a very nicely balanced Sound, you could hear every section & every instrument, with nothing over powering the others. Some good Marches too. Excellent job videoing through the Sea of Mobile Phones & the Rapids of Tourists A+ !
