KAAL KOTHRI by Swadesh Deepak is a Play about a Theatre Actor who sacrifices everything for Art

Staged on 10th January 2025 at Creative Adda, Aaram Nagar, Mumbai & Directed by Tarun Singh Rajput.
"The story is about a theatre artist Rajat who loves the world of Drama and Theatre. He sacrifices his financial stability for Art. Due to his wife’s disheartening words, he decides to look for a job. But , due to corruption in our system he couldn't manage to get a job. Rajat also exposes corruption in the cultural department. Seventy year old Play writer Naveen Verma who has written ten plays yet nothing has been staged. Naveen approaches Kaul Sahab who is the director of Rajat's theatre group but, he denies. Then Naveen jee s wife tells them, that he has written the story in the memory of his dead son, after listening to this the group finally agrees to stage. The show becomes successful and the play ends on a happy note."
