I have just completed my Civil engineering(India) and I am very much interested in architecture along side with BIM modelling. I have completed my internship program with BIM modelling in revit. Now I want to continue further on my studies on Architecture or on to the BIM modelling. Can you please guide me about, as there are various people who had given me their opinion and I am not in a mood to like their style of working.
Hi there...thanks for this quick one. One small problem is "how do you schedule this railing?" it is impossible. With no proper scheduling possibility or even keynotes, it is a bit useless for professionals. Maybe you could expand on this topic and show how to create an adaptive railing family that will cover all angles?
Thank you it was very helpful. But i can't create a rectangular railing in here. Can you help me with that? or i can only create circular railling with this?
I am not sure if anyone is gonna answer this, but: How I am gonna assign to that massing "railing" a railing category. In other words, if then I have to create a schedule of all the railings pf the project, how am I gonna be able to do so?
Thank you @Balkan Architect your videos were suggested to me by an Authorised Autodesk Revit provider, so we are in good hands here! I am doing the "Parametric Custom Railing in Revit Tutorial" but my railing won't mirror/can't delete it, anybody here had the same issue?
Everything works fine, but at the end, when I press Finish Mass, it shows me an error saying "The drawing is no longer parallel to the definition plane", and i can only undo the all process. But I followed every step just fine, i dont know what i did wrong
Thanks again Mr. Balkan I've just created few structures (i.e. Gas Station, Burj Al Arab etc.) with the help of your videos. I wanna ask that if I can post those on instagram giving you the credits??
@@balkanarchitect Thank you so much once again and I recommend everyone to watch your videos for a great learning as well as join you on your patrion 👍🏻

should I use this for stair railing?????
This is a really cool project, but I'm curious how you would recommend cleaning up the join condition between the walls and the floors.
I went through and clicked "join" & "attached top base" at all joints between the walls and floors!

Of course very interesting tutorial, but as architect I can never use non vertical railings, because that doesn't achieve the first function (safety).
Pretty cool and easy......TNX👍
Fantastic like always :)
