Something I really appreciated in school: don't know the English term, but I'd translate to "quiet solitary work". I don't live to listen long to the teacher, work the whole in groups or loud chat if everyone ask others.

I always got lots of tingles from personal attention from teachers. I had specific ones that I would ask for help even if I didn’t really need it that bad just so they could explain things quietly to me. I don’t think I absorbed most of what they told me anyway 😂 this was spot-on!!!

Mornings at school were the worst for me because the lovely sounds of chalk on the chalkboard, Ruffling of papers, The teacher's voice, Students opening and closing books, Turning pages, Etc ..I would literally fall asleep and get into trouble. I had no idea why I loved those sounds and couldn't keep my eyes open. I spent many hours in the Principal's office. 😭🤣

I’m not a substitute though, I’m a Year 11 teacher so they’ve seen me around and know that one day they’ll be in my class 😄 also they’re a lovely bunch of kids

Your style reminds me of a British female radio comedian from long ago, she did a skit in which she was a teacher trying to control an unruly class. I tried to google her name, with no luck. I think this was back in the 60s or 70s when I was little.
