I used to watch this on any weeknight when I couldn't sleep! Someone should do this now and in 30 years time people will say how much Toronto has changed!
I feel in love with this during high school. I visited T.O. for a senior trip an i had my own hotel room and I watched Night walk. I was able to pick the signal up in detroit when i got back. thanks for this memory pleaser,
The people that thought of this show were brilliant, there will always be people who are nostalgic (like me), and who want more than photos of older Toronto. Someone should do this again, 100 years from now people will want to know what things looked like in 3D.
I remember one time It showed lots of people spilling out of L'Hotel (now Crowne Plaza). They were all dressed up. Then the car went along Yonge Street and drove by Sam The Record Man. Toronto was so safe back in the day :( Thanks for sharing this gem.
So I see that Kom Jug Yuen used to be at the Rol Jui Seafood Restaurant location before they moved up the street to near Nassau. Also, Dragon City didn't exist yet (Pretty sure the Church that was at that corner either still existed or was demolished by then)
Such a calming feeling and great music.

I remember after surgery in the late 80s, being up at night and watching this.... talk about nostalgic feeling. Thank you for posting this.

So, first there was Ho King, then there was New Ho King. My mind is blown. This video brings back all the feels. Thank you.
This reminds me of being up at nights with my baby. Brings back memories.
Was a regular at the original Ho King on Dundas in the 80's. Wish gi Def videos existed back then. This was the Toronto I knew & loved.
Gorgeous time capsule
I remember they showed this on tvo or global , after witching hours .
Mr. Pongs in the late 80s after stumbling out of the Twilight Zone at 4/5/6am. God..the drunken memories!
So nice.
My favorite video of all! It makes me feel four-dimensional ...

They'd always walk through Chinatown!
