@@TranceMasterJack Are you 12 dude, not all guys can grow beards and they are like a protective piece of carpet on your face. In this comment world, you really find the idiots. What if we met in person at a grocery store, are you that bearded dude mumbling to themselves, walking in circles... How do you get an account on YT.
Id love the comedy when they document their personal lives on becoming a pro power slapper including interviews of family members and coaches, just like you get in boxing
"I'm dangerous for anybody I fight because I'm not afraid" Actually being afraid makes you more dangerous because of the adrenaline. When there is even a slight indication that a fight might start in my direct vicinity, especially when it's directed at me, my stomach instantly drops and I get shaky as hell as adrenaline starts rushing through my blood. This adrenaline is a result of the fight or flight response, and if you hit me while my body is in this state, I won't feel anything and I can punch 10 times harder than if I did not have this adrenaline boost.
being afraid is not good. being afraid means hesitation will occur because you think of the consequences. being angry gives you determination, then at higher level of fighting being calm and collected becomes key ,however its different from being afraid. Adrenaline has not been proven to help you deter a concussive blow to the head. there's is no muscles to tense or relax.
@jespermeisel9799 Maybe "afraid" isn't the right term. I'm the kind of person that will always try to avoid any sort of conflict or confrontation. But when there is even the slightest indication that a fight is about to start in my direct surroundings, whether it involves me or not, I feel my stomach instantly drop, and then my hands get shaky as adrenaline starts pumping. This doesn't mean that I am afraid to fight and therefore hesitant, in contrast, it gives me a kind of superpower that makes me hyper-alert and gives me an extreme overload of energy. One time I ran from a very threatening situation with this adrenaline boost, and I became like Usain Bolt 😂 For sure I set a personal record for a 100m sprint that day, even though I have competed in 100m sprints many times in my life. One other time I got into a fight that I lost because it was literally 3 of us versus 20+ people, and I got punched in the face a few times but felt literally nothing, until later ofcourse when the adrenaline rush calmed down. So all in all, when I analyze myself during these adrenaline rushes, it clearly makes me faster, stronger and temporarily immune to pain with an extremely ridiculous amount of energy bursting out of my body, which I would consider more dangerous in the average physical altercation that people encounter in their daily lives than somebody who has no fear at all and therefore doesn't have any adrenaline boost. Although you are right, I get the same adrenaline rush when I am extremely angry, so that would do the trick too. I'm just imagining a hypothetical scenario where 2 completely identical people get into a physical fight, let's say there is an exact clone of you that you have to fight. The clone has no adrenaline in his body. But you, whether due to anger or fear, or for whatever other reason have adrenaline rushing through your body, giving you immense energy, hyper focus and a much better pain tolerance. I think it's safe to assume that you would most likely win that fight.
@jespermeisel9799 Now that I read again what you said, I have hesitation due to fear *before* the adrenaline sets in. But once the adrenaline is flowing, it becomes the complete opposite. I have 0 hesitation for anything because my body is in full on fight or flight mode. In that moment, my brain can't think of anything other than protecting myself by any means necessary, and my body will automatically instantly obey any command that my brain sends out in order to survive. It is quite an interesting and amazing phenomenon. And I feel lucky to have such a fragile fight or flight trigger, because it has definitely saved me a few times before and will without a doubt do so in the future too. I think some people have the opposite of me, where it takes the absolute most extreme of conditions for their fight or flight mode to be activated. Those people might die in a situation they could have survived, simply because their fight or flight mode didn't activate soon enough.
I didn't know that this was a thing, but I am definitely interested in watching this. This can be big. PPV status and also a tour. I would pay to go see this.

9:30 Manny might already be the best coach in Power Slap. I never hear Wolverine coaching his guy how to recover while he's trying to recover. Turpin helps a lot from sideline as well but it's more hyping you up. Really happy to see Manny killing it after ole Chrissy thin skin snuck him. Who hits someone then tells you put your hands up lmao.
Dana, your trainers/coaches should probably avoid saying things like, "Send him to his grave" when someone actually passed away from brain damage during Punchdown 5.
Oh please, this sport is basically death flirting. They might as well be taking turns with a baseball bat. Just watch the slow recaps and imagine what that does to the brain.
If you have kids and love them, wouldn’t you want to spend as much time with them as you can? Why would you do a “sport” like this that shortens your healthy lifespan?
