Nice review bro! Mine is a Swift GL and I enjoy it a lot. My audio system is terrible though😔I'm planning to install an active subwoofer this coming Friday and probably get some nice mags later on since the GL comes with wheels caps. Otherwise, the swift is just fun to drive and I think I will drive it till the wheels come off🙂
...MrHowMuch video on the Swift referred me here ... thank you for this compact information, I'm also here browsing for a 1st car an whatnot...the road noise though, i felt that one here.
your plastic by the drivers foot well the loose one is no clipped in , just bang it down ..it has a clip .....the passenger side , the glove box is lil loose, mine rattles in the same place , ...
Very good review. Any reason why you didn't go for the Baleno GL? Only a few rands more and seems to have most of the same features, plus cruise control. And a larger engine of course as well.
Very impressive presentation. I have a 2017 jdm swift 1.0 turbo which is great but the ride quality is not its best feature . Perhaps the Indian made swifts have more comfort tuned suspension to tackle the rough asian roads. But the jdm is lower , has firmer dampers and handle very well. The 1.0 turbo is fantastic too. But no auto central locking too.😃
I drive a swift GL, when I get on 140 mK/h speed, ohh well it starts to shake like wind is blowing it somehow. So in short I can’t go above 140km/h speed, and that is bothering me but besides that, I love it for smooth driving. POV: Needs to be upgraded weight wise (for balance on the road).
I would buy car that puts a smile on your face like yours , over any BMW any day of the week. BTW I own 2021 GL Hybrid Suzuki Swift and couldn't be happier about it 😍😍😍😍😍
I think it would definitely be an ideal car for Cape Town, I mean the issue with handling isn’t particularly noticeable, especially when you get used to the car… I’ve driven in heavy rainfall weather, but at a slow and steady speed of about 60-80km/h on the highway in Joburg and it was totally fine… Also mine which is the GLX has 20mm wider tires compared to the GA and GL, so I don’t know how those cars would behave in those conditions given they have narrower tires
I stopped watching when I saw that it's a manual! I honestly can't relate...I strongly believe I'm not the only one...try sticking with auto transmission especially in small cars😅 it's just my opinion though, you do great reviews anyway ❤
I strongly disagree, these cars are better suited by the manual, it’s even more fuel efficient with a manual. The auto on this is actually a very basic auto box where the main unit is like the manual but the clutch is robotised… But that’s your take😅…thanks a lot🙏🏽

Bazo vuma noma banga vumi, your videos are funny and informative dude, big ups to you too!
Yes it is👍👍. Also love your reviews Muzi. Consider giving us an AMT review of the swift. Keep up the good work
Thanks a lot bro🙏🏽
Please do a video on the outcome of installing the subwoofer.
😂😂😂
Do you recommend auto or manual?
Great review! I am getting one for sure after watching all the reviews. Your review sold me!
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your detailed review! It is very useful information, I really enjoy it! I've just got a Swift GLX😀
You’re welcome, and congratulations 🙏🏽
This has to be the best swift GLX review out here! Extremely detailed 👌

Nice detailed review. Thank you. Consider giving us an AMT review as well.👍

Good quality video and sound. By the way you mentioned a belt buckle making a sound, think you wanted to say the seat belt anchor.
Yes the anchor, that’s true

Why would not get this car in the Auto, want to get an automatic but you mentioned that line please explain
I just feel like for this engine, it’s better suited in manual, and the manual is even more efficient than the auto.
Can you please consider giving us an AMT of this model 🙏🙏🙏
Very good review. Any reason why you didn't go for the Baleno GL? Only a few rands more and seems to have most of the same features, plus cruise control. And a larger engine of course as well.
At the time of purchasing the Swift I wasn’t all too aware of the Baleno, but I have no regrets though, I really wanted the Swift.
@@embakubmotoring I love it - and I love the colour too!
@@robintyson591 yeh the colour is really amazing
Great review the RSA 🇿🇦 style big upz
The Swift does have auto central locking
Do these take a while to open up? Mine is a year old and on 13000km. Feels very tight still, and needs a lot of throttle to get it going
I’m not sure what to pinpoint exactly, but I think that’s just the nature of the engine, it doesn’t really have a lot of grunt

Does the glx 2022 model have height adjustable drivers seat?
Yes it does
Did you mention the average fuel consumption and the range on a full tank. thanks
Average fuel consumption is 4.9L/100km…
Range I get about 630km on a tank…

Get the 185mm tires that come with the GLX, I can do 160km/h without any drama
@@embakubmotoring Will definitely do that, thanks so much.
If you go above 140 you are straining your car rather buy a bigger car with a bigger engine for those speeds
I would buy car that puts a smile on your face like yours , over any BMW any day of the week.

I'm glad you're loving yours😁🙏
Wanted to ask what your thoughts are for driving this in Cape Town .. with the winds on the motorway?

In-depth indeed!
So cool though.

Hi can I buy this swift and use it for bold is it save ?
Don't buy the top of the range one, buy a used base GA
What is the difference between the GLX and GL?
GLX has allow rims, keyless access, reverse camera, Apple CarPlay...
No arm rest is a bit of a miss, but a great deal nonetheless
That’s a major drawback, I forgot that🙏🏽
@@embakubmotoring Great content as always!
Would you recommend someone to use it for uber if they wanted too? Thanks for the video and its worth buying it🎉
Yes I would, but If it’s for Uber use specifically, go for the standard GA trim.
traction control save car from skid on slippery surfaces
Great review thanks
You’re welcome 🙏🏽
Can you please review the vitara brezza glx if it’s possible
I’ll do so
🙏🏼thank you brother
Did I miss the cost of ownership or did you cover it another video?
Otherwise, thanks for the detailed reviewed. It's actually quite good looking!!!
I haven’t done the cost of ownership video, I’ve been busy shooting other reviews that are coming on the channel.
You’re welcome 🙏🏽
Also have a swift and yes. just rattle every where since day one. Took it back and thy tell me its not rattling thy don't hear it. Drives me insane.
My swift glx 2022 has 0 rattles bro
Great review Sir, can you perhaps advise on the average insurance cost for this car? I know it will vary but a rough figure
Thank you 🙏🏽
That video is coming soon
I have a Swift GLX AMT (2023) and got quoted R1523 by Miway

@@embakubmotoring let's agree to disagree 💙 you're welcome!
In terms of safety with the keyless system, can someone unlock your car in your absence?
I doubt, unless if they have some kind of high tech gemming device, like we’ve seen currently in SA
That's not impossible. They have to be there when you use the keyless system to "steal" the code, I think.
U have my subscription, u a a goat😂

Wanna test drive you car bro

Ich fahre das Vorgängermodell. 320.000 km. 94 PS. Tip top. Der neue ist hässlich. 😅😅😅
