Thx for this review, I recently bought the Fjallraven Buck Fleece in XL, and although I can absolutely use and zip it, it feels somewhat tight, so I just ordered the Nuuk Lite in black XXL on sale for 400$ - hopefully it fits better, but having a stocky build being 5.9’ its always a gamble when buying online. My major concern is if the outer material is durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of the outdoors, afterall it isn’t G-1000 and noone really adresses this. Also it would have been nice to know more about breathability, on the Fjallraven website they mention this for the Nuuk Lite, but surprisingly not for the Nuuk. Comparisons between the two jackets, especially handling colder temperatures would also have been helpful and interesting when deciding on model. I went with the Nuuk Lite, since I am situated in Denmark, so Nuuk could be an overkill. Also I like the design, a little less outdoorsy and more allroundish compared to the heavier Nuuk and I am looking forward to the warm highly positioned handpockets. Thx again for your great videos, much appreciated 🇩🇰🤗 Update: The XXL turned out to be perfect in size for me, surprisingly the sleeves was not too long, quality of jacket feels great, but zipper at least here at the beginning is a bit cumbersome. Also the hood is overdimensioned and the faux fur is quite a struggle to detach, but no doubt the Nuuk Lite is a better version than the Nuuk for our climate here. Jacket looks amazing and has many very nice details, yesterday I went to the forest in light rain and 6-7 degrees celcius, and the pocket lining was very comfortable, but it soon got a little too warm hiking. No doubt the Nuuk Lite will shine when the temperature drops. The leather logo is also nice, personally I hate all the red retro looking logos for instance on the Vardag jacket placed directly on the front and middle of the jacket - it looks outdated and cheap and simply makes too much noise.
bro what, you are 5"9 and went with XXL? I have heard people complaining about XS being too big... i cant imagine they being much shorter than you, are your hips wide? Mine kinda are. But i am not a body builder. Decided to order the medium one. The sleeves are very long people mention everywhere i look... imagine an XXL being 5"9 then... I am 5"10 slightly above. I feel SHOCKED by your comment.
@ Not really no, I wear 36/30 in jeans which is 54 in Fjällräven, but I have broad shoulders and some belly and normally use shirt size XXL in most brands even 3XL since I like a loose fit. I am also surprised about sleevelength, but they fit just fine and can be adjusted but the velcro brand. I am pretty sure XL also would have fitted me fine, but with the XXL I can wear a sweater or fleece if I need. Used the jacket yesterday by the ocean when walking myngerman shepard, quite windy, chilly and light rain and it was toasty and nice, but it is true that the jacket sleeves have a ligther padding
