It has always perplexed me why your fantastic music is not better known in the US. I think I have figured it out. The late 80s and 90s in the States was a time when Americans gravitated towards the cynical and the vulgar. As a young woman I remember feeling that I didn’t really fit in here, so I moved to France for 9 years. I stopped listening to pop music and started listening to showtunes and light (Mozart & Puccini) Opera. Your music was too good, too uplifting, and too timeless for that period in American culture. Your excellent music will last forever and will always be appreciated by people with a real ear for good music. Please keep singing and writing new songs!!
