I used the Spring Journal. I really loved it for tracking workouts and journaling. I loved the colors and inspiration. The only complaint I have is that it is not inclusive. It seems to me it is tailored to white, slender women. At least those were the women featured in the spring edition. I wish it was more representative of all women.
Thank you for sharing your feelings after using it Janna. Flipping through the summer issue there are at least 3 women of color that stood out to me. I know she takes submissions...and perhaps she needs to just try to seek out and invite a variety of women to submit.
Janna, Amanda's comment below is correct. I do actively encourage submissions and seek to share a diversity of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives. We will begin accepting submissions for the Winter Journal in the coming week at www.jmbliving.com/submission-guidelines. I'm looking for unique experiences, stories and ideas that just may be the inspiration someone needs to get through a tough time or simply to try something a little different and find more joy in life in the process.

I use Powersheets and love them but love the idea of this one too! How do you think they compare?
Honestly I don't put them in the same category. Although this could take over as your goal planner. JMB living can really be whatever you need it to be. A wellness planner, a daily planner with wellness check ins. A daily journal with goals check in. With my 20% OFF I say give it a try for a quarter and see if you feel like you want to replace your powersheets with it. Only you will be able to tell;) You could use with with your powersheets if you are a multiple planner gal--they could be used for different things:)
Is there a planner that is just for one big goal?
Not that I know of...but I bet there is one somewhere out there with all the planners in the world!
Wondering if her journals are multi cultural? Looks like a great journal.
I feel like she has included a wide range of women of different races, lifestyles, and backgrounds. All the articles are centered around Joyful, Mindful, and Balanced Living so all the things shared do center around the theme of her journal. Every journal ends up completely with it's own feel since contributors are by volunteer basis each season.
