I've been binge-watching SB19 vids and saw this video reaction. So fond of Ken here. Speaking in English is the best resort when you can't recall a direct tagalog translation that's why this challenge is so relatable especially for younger generation of Filipinos.
I'm bingeing on videos with Ken content 🤗 So here I am, a year late. I'm finding a lot of your old RVs. I guess by now you know that Ken is from a province where Bisaya is the first language, English is second, and Tagalog would only be the third. Thanks Jeevan. #SB19_KEN #FELIP
Looks like Ken's doing his wrecking job! 😂 Anyway, the 19 words were kinda hard because their direct translations are not normally used conversationally or they've long been forgotten thru the passing of time. That's why theyre having a hard time. Everyone thought Ken's winning at the start, the boys were cheering for him given that Tagalog is not his first language. There's one time when he translated the word to his first language instead thats why everyone's laughing. 😂 The boys are just so relatable and adorable. 😊 I was just smiling watching this Vlog! 💙 Looking forward to the next...don't be too quick to react so you get the video with subtitles from our very hardworking Translations team hahaha 👌 take care 💙
Did I just see you mouth "he looks perfect" to Ken sleeping on the couch? Haha so cute. I feel you though, our precious little bunso chicken 🐔 😂 Thank you as always for your speedt reaction and support to #SB19 💙
That ken smile thou💙 Im proud of ken we are both speak bisaya.ken is the only who is not a Tagalog that why sejun react every time when got the right answer.
Ken said "I'm tired" when he was on the couch Actually there are English captions now, you should marathon again their vlogs to feel their funny vibes and humor even there's no reaction video.. Just on your own comfort
One of the cutest reactors of #SB19 .. thank u so much ... can’t wait for more contents .. Keep safe always .. A’tin Support u .. Lab3x from Philippines 🇵🇭
They did this short game in celebration of Philippines' Buwan ng Wika (Month of Filipino Language) Some english words are really difficult to translate in tagalog (like most of the words mentioned in the game) 😂 BTW. "Tapos na" means "it's done"
Both Josh and Ken got braces only recently. Haha. They’re probably taking advantage of the quarantine period since some of their plans may have been cancelled anyway. 😉
Hahaha, this vlog is everything. Actually we all are having hard time translating sometimes from english to our own language Filipino because we are used to speaking TagLish (tagalog/english). But Justin's other answers are everything (super funny) if you could only understand there is some funny answers he is giving. As always you are speedt.... Cheers!
most of the time, The official yt account put subtitles delayed thats why i would suggest that you should have talk to A'Tin International, they provide Contents with subtitles for Foreign A'Tin ☺️🇵🇭
Ken is having a hard time to translate actually cause he used to their dialect (VISAYA) so its actually hard for him.... It has different word from their dialect... They having a hard time to those other word bcz it has other meaning like 3-4 meaning like SKY- ALAPAAP HEAVEN is LANGIT CLOUDE is ULAP and sometimes we use just any of that wrongly.. So yeah thats why... And also "TAPOS NA" means END or already END
The tagalog words given were mostly basics but since now we use english most often incorporated with some tagalog words thats why we forget the tagalog counterpart of an english words sometimes esp if it has time limit..
The filipino word for make up is kolorete (color applicator) Sky is actually hard in filipino. The word is langit but the word is most commonly associated with the meaning heaven. Justin's answer alapaap is actually high heavens Toothpick is also hard. Pantinga should be correct however the staff marked it wrong. So the word they are looking for is palito which has a more common meaning of matchstick
They confuse translations between words that are vaguely similar so they answer with the more common word? Like Sky (alapaap) -> Heaven (langit) or Cloud (ulap), Please (pakiusap) -> I beg you (parang awa), Freedom (kalayaan) -> Peace (kapayapaan), Palm (palad) -> Hand (kamay) Boat (bangka) -> Ship (barko) and Ken said Yacht (yate? I can't spell it) Rainbow (bahaghari) -> Colorful (makulay) Justin also translated 'you take care of yourself' instead of just 'take care', and Ken used his regional dialect for Root instead of Filipino. Instructions, toothpick, wallet, and colors (except for black, red, white, yellow) are the harder words here since we usually use the English versions.
Berde is Spanish "Verde". I think a more accurate Tagalog translation for Green is "luntian". Sky on the other hand is a little difficult to translate. Maybe a more accurate translation is the deep Tagalog word "Panginorin".
Stell: who ever wins, he can request anything. Like anything! Meanwhile: Sejun wins : coffee i want coffee There are lots or better to request but he asked for a coffee instead #SB19
'tapos na' means finished...for most filipinos its a challenge to speaknin full filipino because english has replaced common words used everyday...its actually harder to speak in full filipino than speaking in 'taglish' (tagalog+english).
It's a lil hard to translate English language to our language honestly Filipinos are more into English language than our own that's why I guess it's a lil hard even to purely speak in our own language.

KEN ANSWERED A QUESTION NOT IN TAGALOG BUT IN ANOTHER LOCAL DIALECT IN SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES.. HE WAS CONFUSED... THAT WAS FUN!
When Ken mixes his mother langauge to Tagalog.
Looks like Ken's doing his wrecking job! 😂
