Thousands of Latter-day Saints gathered for an evening devotional in Quito, Ecuador, Monday to hear their prophet remind them of their responsibilities to prepare for a glorious afterlife with their families.
President Russell M. Nelson told Latter-day Saints gathered at General Rumiñahui Coliseum in Quito, a meeting that was broadcast to all Church congregations in Ecuador, that each of them is responsible for developing faith in God and keeping His comandments.
Obtaining what Church doctrine calls “exaltation” (“the highest state of happiness and glory” in heaven, President Nelson said) requires righteous decisions made in families. The prophet said God exalts those couples who keep His commandments, which includes being married in one of the faith’s temples and creating a home brimming with love toward each other and their children.

Jesus is the only Way to Heaven. Faith in His Blood Alone is what redeems men and gives eternal life freely to them that believe.
LDS is a false church with false prophets and apostles. Jesus warmed us of such thing in our day. Do not be deceived. Study God’s Word.

@@sharperthananytwoedgedswor1874 . I truly agree with you. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. But we ,the LDS believe that his will is transmitted thru the power of the prayer to our prophets which tell us what paths to follow. I usually study half an hour every night the Holy Bible and the BOM so I think I have my heart opened to the Heavenly Father. What's more I've even read the Torah which is practically the written book of Moses and the Quran to understand how the messages of God were transmitted to the muslims... To me all religions are decent as long as they don't imply suffering or bloodshed.
Believe in God...we are child of God...Amen.

Nothing can stop the prophet of God in his travels , he was already in Oceania some months ago when he even visited NZ...I don't know whether he's been to the land of OZ ,but if does it , save lotsa dosh ,as he will even visit the Outback ...In the meantime ,rehearse a couple of hymns played in didgeridoos ,that''ll be bonzer for him....
I can relate to this miracle. The power of the priesthood converts me to The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Jesus gave / passed on the Melchizedek Priesthood onto his Apostles. And no one mentioned that the power comes from linage of Priests. Study and read the comments before you go on an incorrect rant as you just did.

@@sharperthananytwoedgedswor1874 - I am so very grateful for the restoration of the Melchizedek Priesthood of God whereby we can be heirs of God in every way. I am so grateful for Pres Russell M Nelson, a true prophet of the Most High God. Melchizedek was a great High Priest. Jesus gave that priesthood to his apostles when on earth. This priesthood holds the keys of binding on earth and having that mound in heaven. It is through this restored authority that we are able to perform sacred ordinances for ourselves and for our dead in Holy Temples. I am going to attend the temple later today. I love the feeling I get when I walk inside those sacred walls. If you love the Lord Jesus Christ, you too can seek to be enveloped in is love.

I do not believe in prophets (which by the way happen to be men and since all religions are led and run by men we have every reason to be cautious in following their admonition or believe in their claims). However I believe that the only way to teach and show you are a good man is through people' acts whether at home (in particular in the way they treat their spouse and children and how wise they are in their decisions about everything and intelligent and reasonable too) or in the workplace (by being fair and finding a good economic system that allows people to live decently without being exploited and without destroying the planet and its ressources) and in the public place (showing the same qualities and having at heart to improve the human condition while preserving the planet, its resources and preventing overpopulation with the idea of keeping a good balance between urban and green areas (preserving the green in a far greater proportion than the rest). These can give some advice ....and they should include women in an equal number ... or anyone who shows the above qualities.
Do not be deceived by false prophets and apostles of our day. Jesus warned us that this things would come to pass and that many would be deceived by them. Christ is the only One that can save you. It’s by His Blood we are freely given forgiveness of All sin once and for all and the promise of eternal life by Faith Alone in Christ.
The LDS need temples and must make necessary works/vows. Then by obedience they can qualify if they where faithful to commandments and laws their whole life.

Receive eternal life and forgiveness of All sins forever more.
LDS: the blood of Jesus isn’t satisfactory, must have obedience to commandments and laws. Self works and Must have temple works of the body and must be Faithful life long to the church. Then you can qualify for eternal life at the highest based on your obedience.
Grace and Works do Not mix. It’s one or the other.
Trust in Christ as the only Way to Heaven. It is Only by His Blood and sweat we can have eternal life.
If you add anything to Christ works it is taken from you, because you deny it by your own works for eternal life.
