CHS 4 H Fleece Pom Poms

Our 4-H Wonder Cats group is on a mission this year to help animal shelters. For our first in-person meeting together in the fall, we created fleece pom-poms using instructions from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. We cut fleece strips, then folded the fleece strips in half and cut a thin fringe along the length of the strip just up to the fold, then rolled the fringed fleece into a tight ball, and finally wrapped the center of the ball with a piece of fleece. At the end of the hour we had over 40 fleece pom-poms - enough for all the cats at the Capital Humane Society!
