As an artist this just doesn't cut it for the lack of control you have with this gadget. As an exercise in making something like this, sure it's neat. Having an airbrush designed for the purposes of doing your art, there is no substitute.
Interesting idea. Kinda rough on the pattern, but deffinatly would be usable for crafts n such.

Idea is good, but the spread is really bad, you can see all the big dots between the smaller ones

For walls sure, but this tool is mostly used to spray paint metal elements for cars and other stuff, so it would be bad for that purpose

pressure is too low.
~7 years ago i used valve from a lighter as a trigger and syringe needle as paint conduit and 2 bar compressor. The result was very close to a professional-grade airbrush - no drops on a painting surface, just uniform fog of atomized paint.
словом, на видео херня, а не аэрограф :) компрессор для аквариума 0,3 очка в прыжке даёт, в пень его.
I think it would work way better if you used a much longer needle and epoxied the paint spout into a hole drilled into the bottom of the needle!

Good grief! Why are you playing with broken lighters, syringes and plastic tubes? Is there a dark, heroine related past you're putting to a good future? If so GOOD FOR YOU... If not and you're STILL playing with broken lighters and other stuff, I REALLY need a car...Would DEFINITELY watch that "How to" video! :) Tx for all the wonderful ideas!
