I almost feel like the buffs to OD blade > OD boom were because of how rarely it is used currently. It does feel like Guile is a kind of anchor point for Capcom though. Guile wasn't changed much in the last patch either and in general what I see is anyone weaker than Guile gets buffed and anyone stronger than Guile gets nerfed. Guile himself has been in a pretty decent spot throughout the game's life so far.

I was watching Higuchi’s stream on this, and he was labbing some interesting punishes in the corner that were meter happy compared to the boom loops. For example, shp OD sonic cross drive rush hk flash kick super, or even shp od sonic cross drive rush hk level 2 od flash kick
I can start seeing some uses from this, maybe not much, but there might be very specific distances and such that this might be optimal from. I hope he can discover some cool things around it.

It comes with practice, Some of Guiles high damaging stuff is very technical, but with practice everything is possible to do. The UDK follow-ups would been nice to have some more options though.

Do you mean like "perfect" as in a perfect sonic boom? It's one of those things with Guile that opens up his more advanced things, making his combos much harder.
Trash buffs ! No one used the id blade buff before and they still added on to a useless move lol..if the damage was greater I would understand.What they should of done was combine the meter use for both the od blade and boom od into 2 bars if used together.Back fist is another wasted button ,manly used for far punish starters.But most people are crouching ,so it rarely is used .
I was only happy to not see nerfs. These buffs were somewhat questionable and buttons/options few used before this. The situation of usage for them barely changed either
Nothing noteworthy. Guile is still our starved mongrel that has to flame torch through resources (he has to grind so hard to get) to get anything significant going. Anyway... About that backhand stuff... Ummm... Hello Capcom! The thing still whiffs on crouching opponents! What was the point then?... Niche at best... Therefore, useless 🤷♂️
It's a strange button to pull out in this game. Was a incredible button in both 4 and 5 but SF6 it's not good of a button. Strange from capcom to do this.

I wish they made mp hp target combo into flash kick easier to do and also buff follow ups after his upside down kick
