🍊 Bread Recipe
Dry ingredients-
2 cups flour amzn.to/3xLIsRG
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt amzn.to/49GP4hI
Wet ingredients-
1 sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest amzn.to/440dn96
*pour into dry flour mixture, stir until uniform, then transfer to greased bread loaf pan
*bake in oven at 350F for 40-45min (time/temp may vary depending on your oven strength)
Glaze-
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
cinnamon
cloves
*heat in saucepan to dissolve sugar and spoon glaze over hot loaf

Also, I am 61, and have come to realize it’s difficult to have a great relationship with food in the US, where one is surrounded by fast food restaurants. And so many temptations in stores. Add in hormone surges and it’s a “recipe” for overeating. The struggle is real, and you are not alone! You are so special, Jasmine!!!

Not sure if you remember my username but years ago you sent me a letter and gift card out of the kindness of your heart because I think you always saw me commenting 😂❤ I was and still am so grateful for that as it let me try a few make up products I had been wanting for so long but couldn’t justify spending money on. Thank you again, a million times. I’m so proud of how far you’ve come! And even more proud and in awe of the fact that you’ve always remained so humble and down to earth. I watch your videos during my breaks at work haha so I don’t always comment but I’m always here. I had to comment this time because I’m cracking up at the fact that I do that at TJMaxx/Marshalls/Burlington.. well EVERYWHERE LOL - I see things that I like and spark an interest and put it in my cart & then at the end I “review” everything to see what I really need and will use lmao. Went back to college this semester for licensed mental health counseling which has been a big dream of mine for a few years & i took the leap. Couldn’t agree more about crying & fun fact: laughing & crying release the same chemicals in your brain. Both a release in similar ways internally which I find super interesting!💕

That bread recipe seems soooo comforting
I've constantly cried and prayed for 2 weeks. My only grandson left for the US Army and my granny heart is just feeling so many things!! Pride, sadness, love and so much more! If any of you are praying people, add him and all of our soldiers to your prayers please❤❤❤❤ and yummmmmm for the orange loaf!! I'm not a fan of salmon or any fish but the dish was lovely!!
I don’t watch many younger influencers at all. You and one other ~~~(I am 60 in June 😱😛) but I just love to watch your videos because you are not fake at all. I relate to a lot of things you say and do and see some of my younger self in you ♥️. One thing I can say I don’t miss about my youth is my period !! I’ve had similar weight struggles throughout my life & I dream of a day where I’m just consistent, like the type of person who fluctuates between 3-5lbs their whole life. I, however, have gained and had to lose 50ish lbs several times & it’s like one day a flip switches & I meal prep, eat super well & nothing can stop me & im so proud but I’ve been waiting & downright trying to FORCE that switch to flip for monthssss. It’s frustrating & a struggle but I remind myself I’m doing so well in other areas of my life & nothing is ever perfectly in balance at all times. I’ll get there. 🥰

When I would have periods (on nexplanon so no periods) they were heavy and very very painful. It always helped to move my body, have healthier snacks on hand and I made sure to hydrate & slept when I needed to. Give yourself some grace boo you’re human. It’s okay to have things that you enjoy. I honestly don’t believe in “diet culture” long term a lot of them just don’t work and people end up packing on the pounds. Do whatever fits for your lifestyle ❤

Jasmine, I feel you! I am struggling with my weight and stress eating. I was doing good for so long leading up to my wedding in February because I knew I had to fit into my dress. Immediately after my wedding, I started eating bad again and I feel terrible. I know what I have to do, I’ve done it before but it’s super hard!

Thank you for always keeping your content SO real and actually relatable! It’s really hard to watch other influencers videos a lot of the time because I just really don’t relate to any of what they find to be “normal” because it just isn’t realistic to a normal persons everyday life. I’m just so glad you’ve always been true to who you are stayed humble and haven’t gotten so tapped out of reality like others have because of the money or the partnerships. This was me literally Yesterday - and yes to smelling all of the Candles! We were shopping at Marshalls together in Spirit! Those flowered cozy blankets are SO pretty for Spring! Makes me want to run there to get that lavender Lilac one, even though I don't technically Need it, I just like it to add a pattern to the armchair of my couch!

I do agree with a deep cry bc I feel your blocking all your emotions in and girl you need it let it out. I know with my mother passing away and dealing at time seeing her in pain and getting that she weaker hurts but I knew there was gonna be a day she won’t deal any pain or suffering. Ofc I do cry at time bc I wanna talk to her and tell everything but I truly know she will me 100% with me. Crying is part our life, nothing is wrong with that.
