Okay, okay, here is the old video! Now you can stop emailing me about it! I had wanted to redo it but haven't found the time, so I decided to go ahead and repost the old one. Enjoy!

Sometimes I keep coming back to this video since it was the reason why I started studying classical guitar back then. It's a shame I dropped a long time ago, but always a pleasure to keep coming back to this great arrangement. Keep up the excellent work mate.

This version of Lighwaves blows lonlonjp's version clean out the water. This video was the main reason I got a classical guitar. Beautifully played Justin
    5 stars and Faved.

I'm currently learning this song from your tabs. Honestly I am finding it extremely difficult and I keep messing up. But that's probably down to my lack of knowledge in guitar. I'm determined to learn it though. This song means the world to me so I will learn it. And thank you for making tabs as it's the only one I can find

hows your progress been? i hope youve kept at it. progress can feel slow at the beginning, but i found that once you pass that, playing guitar gets that much more fun.

I really thought I preferred blitzwater's version, at first...but yours has a lot of spirit and personality in it. Kudos, man.

This is officially the geyest cover of moe. Gz. I remember giving you heat for this back in the day and you had a cry but I'm still right. Blitzwater's arrangement blows yours outta the water. Hope this helps. Bibi

@@kabukibear hahaha just kidding with you buddy. Good to see you're still kicking (and haven't changed much). How goes the vgm covers/guitar skills? Should drop something for old time's sake.

on the sheet music you called this the "easy" version. but actually, i think this one is harder. it's slower and there are less notes but still enough. to make a song like this sound good it requires much more attention to detail and concentration in general.
and my guitar teacher and our orchestra and choir conductor both say slow songs are much harder than fast ones. as far as perfection goes.
and since you play this awesomely i gotta say, good job^^

Ah, thanks for the video (and tabs!).. some of the notes would always sound pretty awkward to me, but its probably just the way I play. Maybe I should focus on getting all the handling right before I try to play at full speed

Could you rerecord this and Reminiscence from Suikoden 2? I'd gladly pay for both tracks to have them. They bring me to my childhood and would love to share them further. Your rendition of the songs is somewhat dreamy, and no other cover has that quality to it.

    • @kabukibear

They stand for Eighth notes. It's a way of assining durations without sheet music. whole note, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, etc.
