Been in the saddle for well over 60 years and never fitted. Yet I wasn't ever a competitor so more about comfort for myself. However, I enjoy riding enough that I want performance and the economy of effort to be in the game as well such as, best effort per mile without exhausting the gas tank. I may have to give this a try sometime. Have a gravel bike as well as a carbon roadie with aspirations of doing many miles a day in the bikepacking venue so, fine tuning the bike for gravel and the roadie may be in the cards. So far, like you, videos, and just simply tweaking here and there. So far it has been ok, not stellar but sufficient enough. Both of my bikes use drop bars. Seats, seat height, fore and aft positioning, handle bar height, fore and aft. They say a shorter crank may be beneficial but I've stayed with what generally come with any off the floor models they push on the public. Works well enough. I would agree however on the professional fit, only if one is young, energetic and or competing in the many different forms of bike racing. As we age, the mobility become less and less so comfort exceeds all. Liked your video. I have viewed a couple now with about the same information in their conclusions. I would highly recommend the 75 package as this would give one a longer time to evaluate their bikes and riding styles in a more comfortable time line rather than trying to cram it all in 2 weeks.
Save money and do ya own bike fit , it's simple and cheap! Why waste hundreds on a bike fit that just fits you for comfort? Nothing more!!! I think bike fits are a rip-off! GCN done a bike fit video only for the guy to change it back to how he had it! Bike fitter said and I quote " you just want to be comfortable so we'll leave it as it is" bike fits are another brain wash item selling you something you don't need. Open ya eyes!
Great content! Thanks for creating this video!
My pleasure!

BEST IDEA! position looks pretty dialed in
Thanks!!!
are there other online bike fit tools that are recommended? Which is the best?
This is the only one I tried and somewhat informative so far

What camera did you use? My struggle in using velo fit is you have to go down the bike yo record and also upload the video.
I just use my iPhone 14 I have.
Which cycle we should buy to exercise at home
I think anything if you’re starting out. Making sure you build strength in your legs first. Then you can upgrade to new experiment
Does it look at the frontal area as well? Would be good for the performance fit if it helped shrink that too
Yes! It’s telling me to raise my aero bars. I’ll be Aero TESTING THIS!
this is so cool, I gotta try this out!
Yeah!!!
I am also interested in this tool. THX. You seem to be sitting a bit too far forward, as the plumb line from your knee is far ahead of the pedal axis.
Thanks for that!
When is your next race?
I think hes doing Indian Wells 70.3
70.3 Indian Wells!
I’ll be supporting you from Belguim!
So what's the conclusion? is it worth it?
If you’re a beginner and able to do some adjustments on your own, then yes it’s worth it
Great video!
Thanks!
Big fan
Thank you!!
Awsome!
Glad you think so!
i got a bike fit with my bike... the cost of the fit was taken off the new bike
That's usually the case when you get a new bike from a shop!
@@SimonShi ya. I learned the hard way different brands have different geometry. For when I went for a gravel bike I did that from a gravel bike
Myvelo fit?
Yep!
👍👍👍👍😊
Thanks 🙏

lol the point of the video was to do your own bike fit and NOT spend hundreds on a bike fit🤣
