Absolutely incredible achievement for any individual.
I couldn't do a single one of those 3 tasks, let alone all 3.
However; I do think that the Guinness World Record needs to have a note beside it.
Something that says "aided" or something like that.
During the swimming and running he was tethered to the guide, so he was not entirely doing it with all of his own energy and effort.
They even note that the cycling portion was important, because it was the only portion that he did in fact complete totally on his own.
I think it's absolutely incredible what he accomplished.
However; it is important to note he did not complete the entirety on his own.
I'm not at all trying to take away from what he did or accomplished.
In fact I'm trying to support the future individual with down syndrome that completes an Iron Man without aid or being tethered.
For there accomplishment could be ignored or overlooked.
When it comes to world records; it is important to get all of the facts and details correct.
