The song- "I want Out" by Helloween has one of the longest sustained notes- I have ever heard.. If nothing else, Listen to it on your own time- Prob one of their most popular tunes.
I agree with you that Michael Kiske has one of greatest voices in Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock music. Michael Kiske is no longer considered to be an ex member of Helloween since their Pumpkins United World Tour that started two years ago. Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen are back in the band as members of Helloween and are doing their next studio album. I am really looking forward to it. Michael Weikath has stated in a recent interview that they will continue with this lineup as long as possible.
Back in the day this was a thunderclap when it arrived during the thrash era- a speedy band with a singer!! and didn't take themselves too seriously. Massively influential and fabulous live

But this song blew me away first time i heard it and next day i HAD to run out and buy the album....lol
By far my favorite Helloween song. I listen to it every October many times.. I used to love to seeing the 13 minute video on Headbangers Ball on MTV back in the 80's near Halloween. Of course the regular video is about 7 minutes. Love it... thanks guys..
You guys are killing me with your uploads tonight.I’m at work and I keep seeing some of my favorites being posted and I can’t watch them yet..FUUUUUUUCK!
Absolutely!!! I have not seen one reaction channel yet to react to Gamma Ray. Anywhere In The Galaxy is a great choice. Some other great songs that should be reacted to someday are Heading For Tomorrow, Lust For Life, Changes, Dream Healer, Heal Me, Last Before The Storm, Rebellion In Dreamland, Land Of The Free, Beyond The Black Hole, Armageddon, Valley Of The Kings, Dethrone Tyranny, Razorblade Sigh, The Heart Of The Unicorn, Fight, Blood Religion, and many many more. I love Gamma Ray as much as I do Helloween. Kai Hansen is one of the greatest songwriters ever in my opinion.
Helloween founder and lead guitar player Kai Hansen formed a new band in 1989 called Gamma Ray. Check Heading For Tomorrow from the same-titled 1989 album. A fourteen minute epic with chilling solos and excellent vocals by Ralph Scheepers who later went to sing for Primal Fear.
First time I heard this band...I loved this song! Wow! Have to listen to more now 😊 And yeah Kel, I wouldn't mess with you 😁Rich you are safe in her arms so hold on 😊
Thanks Ann!! Apparently this song is about a kidnapping on Halloween. Yikes. Much love from South Florida. Time to go to bed. Thanks for being here with us.
@@angryalanrants9574 personally I think they should listen to a full King Diamond album it's really the only way to fully experience him for the first time but I just named a couple of my favorite songs from him for them to check out
The guitar solos on this song is most epic ever. (R.I.P. Ingo which plays the wonderful drums) You should react to the 3rd and last one too which in my opinion is the best of them all. (They used 15 years to make it i think) "The King for a 1000 Years" If there were ever a fourth, it must be "The Time of the Oath"
This song and keeper of the seven keys tell one story the main character in this song becomes the keeper of the seven keys and ends up killing the devil
This song is my favorite Halloween song! I'd love to see a house play this song and have their lights and such dance around to this song. A really long song, but also one of my favorites from Manowar is "Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in eight parts. Its 28 minutes long but its really good if you dare to listen to it! :)

Eagle Fly Free from the live on 3 continents tour is one of my favorite videos. #Painintheask and Kai Hansen was the lead guitar here. Michael Weikath is the other. [And - spoiler alert - like "Star Wars" et al., it does not all go smoothly for the good side]. Piece them all together!
This was a very influential album for a lot of bands that had Prog and Power metal leanings already. Still, I think you need to hear Fates Warning, so I'll make it official and #PainInTheAsk Fates Warning Point of View .
Hey, you two! You earned another subscriber :) If you like Helloween you need to check out another German band wich I believe was born out of the love for Helloween.
