Texas will lose to Oklahoma and Georgia. Texas was always overhyped in the BigXll even though they won very few games against Oklahoma in the past decade. Now, they are being overhyped in the SEC, and I fail to understand the reasoning. I don't claim to be any kind of college football expert, but I covered college football games for decades as a photographer on the sidelines, and I have been a fan since the 60s.
4/5 returning offensive linemen, 2nd best duo at the rb position, qb 3rd year in a sark system, great wrs. The only question is the interior of the defense and the second starting cb spot
@@matthewmiller8758 all but one of their WRs are transfers and are objectively not that impressive when compared to Oklahomas. I’m betting that even with 4/5 returning starters on the Texas offense, Oklahoma is gonna tear it apart even more than they did in 2023 now that they’ve got Damonic Williams at DT and just more depth all the way around. Venables defensive career from the starting as a grad assistant at Kansas State, to his role as co-defensive coordinator for the Oklahoma Natty in 2000 all the way to his Clemson years where he was 100% in charge of that side of the ball, is historically a freight train, and he seems to be rebuilding Oklahoma’s defense the right way. The only questions I think anyone can realistically have Oklahoma are: A) whats going on with the offensive line? and B) how well their quarterback in Jackson Arnold can gel with his WRs? And remember, all of Oklahoma’s WRs are absolute monsters. They’ve got Burks, Anthony, Anderson, and Gibson. Now those two questions are some HUGE concerns and it could cost the game and the season, but when it comes to Red River in 2024, Oklahoma defense will dominate Texas offense. Oklahoma’s offense will just have to step up and deliver the points to win it.
😂 I find it amusing when people try to hide their hate for a team in some obscure objective fact. Just say you hate Texas, it’s fine. As JD said in the video most of the CFB world does and Texas fans don’t care lol.
@@DK-hg7wjlmao, they "don't care." Yeah, they don't care so much they cry all the time, especially about hornsdown 😭. It's actually embarrassing how much crying y'all's coaches do. It's no wonder y'all's fans are such snowflakes!
JD (regarding (EA25), you just look her in the eyes and tell her, "woman, this is the way it works in my work world". Never flinch, if you do, you are dead! You gotta sell the bluff!
Texas is not a layup. Idk where this notion comes from. They barely scraped by against trash teams in the Big 12 and you think they are a lock to make the playoff out the SEC??? FOH
This talk about "10 wins and you're in" is wrong. There will be massive pressure on the committee to limit the SEC to 5 playoff teams and it could be 4. Run the math. You have 4 conference championship game winners plus the group of five team. That leaves 7 spots at most remaining for the committee to decide. I can definitely see a scenario where only 4 of those 7 spots are SEC teams. First of all, both teams in the Big Ten championship game will make it and likely Notre Dame leaving only 5 spots. Guess what happens if the "wrong" team wins the ACC and/or Big 12 championship games? Say undefeated Ok State and Clemson lose to TCU and Florida St., respectively. They will all 4 make the playoffs taking 2 extra spots. There will also be pressure on the committee to pick a west coast team for TV reasons and if you think they are going to pick many more SEC teams then they do Big Ten then I think you have not thought thru this thing. I predict SEC outrage and disappointment.
Great show men! GBO!
JD should absolutely live stream the CFB game. You get some playing time and it's for work win win lol
Give it a couple years and y'all will be hosting That SEC Football event where On3 and 247 and everyone else shows up to.
I Love this dude JD

Losing the SEC ship will ofc suck. Winning it will be well worth the bye
How did I know he was going to say Mizzou? It would be a fresh take out of the echo chamber to say they’ll go 10-2 to 12-0 this season.
It is insane how easy their sched is. And then people say losing the divisions helps UT... yet they still play GA and Bama every year
He hates Mizzou. Picked against them every game last year
🤘🏾🤘🏾them horns gone show up and show out
vandy is the ONLY secsec school with a winning record vs Texas

We will pass this advice on to JD!
Texas got the easiest sec schedule
Mizzou does, Texas is close tho
Them Dawgs is coming! Gonna hurt some feelings 😂

10 wins is going to get 90% of SEC teams into the Playoff
Mizzouri is missing key pieces that made up for Eli's weaknesses.
What key pieces would that be?
did this guy really just say Elko is a better hire then Deboer bucks texas a&m standards are lower?
Did you listen to what he said right after that?
