Very helpful! Thank you! I wanted to move from my in-house affiliate program to Share-a-Sale, but initial investment of $550 for merchants made me look into it and see what to expect 🥰
Hey! I'm just starting out with affiliate marketing and have a ShareASale account. This is a great video for understanding how to research products on ShareASale. I have one question so far. You said that a power rank of 78 is really good but the product I'm currently looking at says it's 1000+ power rank. Did they change their ranking system since this video came out? Thanks!
This tutorial was so well done. I was a little apprehensive on using this affiliate network, but after your detailed explanation, I feel a lot more comfortable with it. Also signed up with your link.
Great video. Any suggestions to get approved to the programs inside Shareasale? I dont have much traffic to my website and high sales to brag with. I just started yesterday, but got declined by all 3?
Good question. I'd suggest going to "Merchant Search" then "Modify Search" which is under the search bar and then in the lower left will be "Auto -Approval" which I highlighted in this image tinyurl.com/yz558b4n I'd then apply category filters that apply to your niche and the results that pop up should auto approve your request. Once you start generating sales other advertisers will be able to see that and will be more likely to approve you in the future.
People have been signing up through my affiliate links and the activities are not reflecting on my dashboard. I can't see see any lead. My account is still showing $0.00. How long will it take to show???
Hello, I want to ask, do I earn for promoting shareasale affiliate network through the shareasale link on the marketplace, and how much per referral through the link?
Just want to say great job. Looking forward to all your content. You have made me want to step back into the game again. I would love to see a full on case study from picking out a partner after running the numbers through the calculator. Then content creation and then money. Kind of how Spencer did the niche site project. You could do one on YT.
This is great feedback. I like the idea of putting it all together in one massive soup to nuts case study. Let me toss around some ideas on this. Thanks!
my account is suspended today had good commission...they are saying you have deleted your contact details but I did not..pls suggest...I had good commission in my account..
If you check out my video on being denied to affiliate programs (last video I made) you will see this mentioned there. I’d make a website that acts as a portfolio of your work highlighting what you do and the value you provide your affiliate partners. Then when you use that site when you apply they can get an idea of who you are quickly. Nothing terribly fancy. Just a high level overview.
Depends. Every program on SaS has different rules. Some don’t allow ppc others just don’t allow certain branded keywords. You have to read each advertisers ad policy
You’ve got it. The cookie length is per click. So if you have a video doing 1000 views a month and then 5% of people click the video each month you’d have 50 clicks every month. Then let’s say the cookie window is 10 days. Each person (of the 50) that clicked would have a 10 day window to buy where you’d get credit. You can continue making money over a long period of time as long as your video continues to get views over time. Known as “evergreen content”.
Great video, AGAIN Eric! 🤩 Thank you! Super excited to get started :) So helpful Random side note: The screens with the tips remind me of the book Predictably Irrational! Have you read it? I think you'd like it. I have it but haven't read it yet lol but from what I've heard about it, I think you'd like it lol
It’s funny you say that because Dan Ariely who wrote that book is one of my top 3 favorite authors. I love watching human behavior and understanding why we make the decisions we make. It’s an excellent read and you’ll enjoy it!

@@PassiveCabbageChallenge I would follow along
Please do these on all major affiliate networks. Or perhaps only the ones you personally use.
I plan to make more on other networks I'm familiar with. Thanks for the encouragement!
No problem. Thank you for this video! 😊 I love how you explain things in detail.

Hello old friend. Amazing stuff as usually... How do you continue making money on a video over a long period of time after the cookie length runs out?
or is that metric per individual customer?

We love snowballs :)
Do you have a course?
No but I have thought about it. Just never pulled the trigger.
