      Thanks for watching, Jackson! We had a wonderful time in Myanmar! We have 10 or so videos up about Myanmar now and still a few more to go. Kind of sad that the series is coming to an end. We'll definitely have to go back!

    I know it’s from 3 years ago. But, let me say this that “Thank you for being patient, understanding and kind, especially on the train. I’ve seen one UA-camr making a similar video and complaining about the train being bumpy a lot, not clean enough and bad bathroom etc, while visiting to a developing country and expected 5 star infrastructures.

      Thank you very much for saying so. It is something so important to us. I remember reading blog posts about the trains in Myanmar before going and you'd think that these bloggers were dying the way they talked about the "trauma" of the experience. I'm not sure what people expect and it was far from traumatizing! My goodness.

    When I'm around interesting and beautiful place or things I prefer taking slow moving ways . I enjoy so much more walking Cycling or a slow Train or boat. You can enjoy stopping and smelling the flowers and the local food . Listen to the Birds. You can't do that on a high speed anything. I took one from Geneiva to Paris. If it was close to the track it was a blurry flash . If it was a Deer in a Feild it was oh that would be more fun if I had actually had time to enjoy it. Stopping and enjoying the experience needs to come back 😁

      I'm living in Nishio, Aichi-ken. I'd like to ask about the gear you use to film your trips. The video quality is so good. And the videos are very well edited!! So good to watch. I'm studying photography and trying to learn more about film making. Sorry about my english... I have to study more.

      Your English is great! :) Thank you for your kind words about our videos. During this trip we used the Sony a5000. The last two videos we uploaded have been with the Panasonic Lumix G7 with shotgun mic.
      If you're ever in Tokyo, you're welcome to come to one of our monthly Instameets (photo walks). Lots of photographers come together to shoot. A great way to make new friends and take some interesting photos. :)

      Notes of Nomads thank you! I'm following your Facebook page and will keep an eye into the instameets dates. Maybe December I'll be able to go! I'm sure it will be a lot of fun and for me will be a great learning experience!

      Hello, how are you doing? I saw that you live in Japan. I always wanted to visit Japan, even more than India. But I thought it was way too expensive. But some people are saying that's not true, you can travel to Japan and sleep and eat for a reasonable price.
      Can you give me your advice on that? I was thinking staying from three to four weeks, and visit the major cities but staying more time on the rural zones, like akita and others. I'm not a lover of busy stressful cities. And I really want to experience the "ancient" politeness and culture .

    Who likes trains? We often try to incorporate interesting train rides into our travels. What's your ultimate train adventure?

    I admire u the courage and the energy you both had to put up with a long long train ride of 24 hours. I wonder if by bus would be faster? visiting myanmar for only 2 weeks in case I dont think it will be wise to spend 24 hours and missing one day of my vacation days, any suggestions? thanks

    • @Notesofnomads
      @Notesofnomads  6 років тому

      The bus is definitely faster! You can take overnight buses to maximize your holiday time. If you look at our other Myanmar videos, you'll see one about buses that will give you an idea about what they are like.
