I'd assume if its someone's first time playing, they'd have to move and drag their finger across the screen until the red circle shows up. I've already played the flash/PC version of the game so I already had the general idea where it was.
I think he is actually tapping that fast but the game is sped up by some cheat if you can do it on iOS with a jailbreak so it should be possible on android
You might be getting mixed up with the IOS version of the game. For some reason in the newest IOS version of the game, it has slower cutscenes than the Android version (eg. when the game introduces the final question). I think the android didn't receive the update that IOS got so I was playing an older version of the game which kept the faster cutscenes. You might also be getting the mobile version of the game confused with the computer version of the game. They both have different animation speeds in certain questions. (eg. Q.106 in mobile is slower than Q.106 in the computer version.) Hope this explained things.

The publisher is inXile Entertainment but the app seems to only be avaliable for IOS only and not Android.
