IMPORTANT: As of version 6.1, two files for the Grey Matter and Boss stages are missing from the game. This will probably be fixed in version 6.2, but if you can't wait, you can manually fix it yourself by downloading the files at the Discord page from the above link in Q2 and follow the steps below: 1) At the Discord page, type "Missing assets for Ben 10 - Battle Ready" in the search bar on the upper right corner. 2) It is available for download as a 355 kB zip file on the right side of the screen. Extract the two files, and place them in your Flashpoint folder: "Flashpoint 6.1 Infinity" -- "Flashpoint" -- "Server" -- "htdocs" -- "ht.cdn.turner.com" -- "toon" -- "games" -- "ben10" -- "battleready" 3) The Grey Matter stage file is named "map_Micro.cct" and it will be 0 kB, so replace it with the downloaded file. The missing Boss stage file is named "char_Boss.cct" 4) Start Flashpoint Infinity 6.1, load the game and enjoy!
Suggest this game to speedrun.com with this video, and I'll speedrun it later this week. I could do it myself, but if you do it first, it would be fun to compare my time with your (world record) time. =)
So many memories. Using Ghostfreak to phrase through walls, XLR8 to speed everywhere... Intentionally dropping Ben in a pit or wall, figuring out that Grey Matter is a useless blob...
The theme from the Ripjaws/Ghostfreak/Wildmutt levels, of all things, was still stuck in my head after all these years- probably because of how long it took me to navigate them.
I've been looking for this game for YEARS. I'm so glad to see that there's people who love it as much as I do. It's probably the most nostalgic game in my life, as well as my favorite CN game of all time. I used to have dreams about playing this, and now I can finally peer into my childhood once again! Thank you for making this!
this was one of the cartoon network games that you actually had to put a lot of time in to finish. I remember the game even saved how many sumo card you collected so you didn't have to start over when our parents would tell us to do our homework lol. good times
General boss strategy: 1) (Optional) - Change to Ghostfreak and destroy those smaller robots at the top and bottom regions of the main area first, cos they tend to get in your way when the boss starts spinning. 2) Change to Heatblast/Stinkfly/Diamondhead/Upgrade to attack the boss from a distance. When a little less than half its health remains, it starts spinning around rapidly, following you for a short while. 3) Quickly change to XLR8 and run near the blue barrels. As the boss follows, it will destroy them, releasing health orbs. Grab just enough orbs to replenish your health. 4) After keeping a safe distance from the boss, change back to one of the projectile-shooting aliens and continue your attack. 5) When its health falls to about a quarter, it will spin again. Repeat steps 3 and 4 till the boss is destroyed. Note: The boss spins more frequently when its health gets lower.
I remember this being like the only time I could experience Ghostfreak, and it's still neat for that. He barely got any time as an alien before being turned evil, which kind of sucks cause he never got much use even when AF/UA came around. Even Wildmutt. I love Protector of Earth but they really screwed you on the aliens
Bro i just WISH I could re live the years starting from 05. I was 6 years old when Ben 10 ORIGINAL came out. Man I swear to god. Life had a different vibe back then
I remember scouring the Stinkfly level for fucking hours looking for that last card, seeing it finally completed all these years later was something I never knew I needed until I saw it
yo wassup. i recently saw one of your videos just to check it out. they are pretty cool. you got in stagram? i know imma stranger. but think about it this way. if im on this side of youtube with you then im definitely a dude of culture. would be cool to have conversations about stuff like this. i don’t know to many people who have my interest
They probably couldn't/didn't bother to figure out how to design a level that uses its abilities. I thought they could have designed it in some way like, say, hide a bunch of traps/secret switches in the map and you need to use Wildmutt to detect them or access hidden areas.
Man this is crazy I remember very faintly I was 2 (I have very good memory lmao) playing this not knowing what I was doing. I’m going to turn 19 this year and the nostalgia of this game just hits so different with a lot of shit going on now.
idc i love how this game made so much sense to me as a kid especially since they even put a time out on the watch n i can turn into everything this really was the best flash game fr
I used to score endlessly even after completion of the game ! Earlier, I wasn't able to get how to transform into other aliens. I only use to press "X" key & it transformed into wildmutt only. Later on, I learnt that I need to hold the "X" key for changing into other aliens.
I thought this game was lost to us all. I couldn't remember the name of the game and for the life of me, and because I couldn't figure out the name, I couldn't look up a Let's Play in it. Thanks for making this awesome video!
The music and atmosphere of this game kinda scared me when i played this when i was like 10. Especially when I finally got to the final boss. I also got stuck on ripjaws stage too.
Bro i remember that game! From what I remember this game as a kid, it was blocked for awhile until It eventually worked and i can finally play it, this game was so much fun I loved it. Compared to the other Ben 10 flash games, this one is the only one we’re you can turn into all of ben’s aliens no any a few amount like any ben 10 flash games
Memory is so unreliable. I remember this game so well back in the 2000s, its so nostalgic and familiar yet not what I remembered. At times I wonder if this is the same game given how many details were lost to time.
Oh boy I remember playing this game that tested my determination especially when I got to the boss I had a lot of trouble with it until I used Ghostfreak and finally beat the game
Insane memory, seeing this. I was 8 going to the public library and trying to finish the game in 30 mins before my computer session reset. Needless to say I never beat it haha
Oh yay, this game is playable and accessible again. I made a statement a while back about how I was planning of trying to find game resources and rebuild the whole thing, guess now I don't need to. I think my statement is inaccessible now though due to COPPA
I think it has something to do with the map boundary. Sometimes when you change back while you are near or out of the map boundary/walls, you automatically die as Ben's not supposed to be able to reach that area. That's why when I retried the area, I try to change back early while making sure I'm not in the middle of a wall or something.
I never realized that, from all the 10 aliens, only ghostfreak had more than 2 habilities. In the game, everyone can only make their attack. XLR8 has two, moves fast and attacks, Stinkfly has two, flies and attacks But ghostfreak flies, attacks and can pass through walls. This game was so simplistic yet it’s really cool
I woke up everyday , no shower, just a bowl of cereal and my dell desk top computer. Just to play this game, the grind was real and I couldn’t wait to go home after school to find a sumo card.
This game is still as enjoyable as the samurai jack, megas XLR grim adventures, fosters home, teen titans, Hi-Hi puffy ami yummi, camp lazlo games. If they were apps we would still play them.
I finally figured out the Points Guide: *Collecting the Golden Sumo Cards give you 5,000 points. *Collecting the Green Orbs to refill your Health Meter give you 50 points. *Destroying enemies give you 1,000 points. *Destroying obstacles give you 500 points. *The Final Boss gives you 1,000,000 points.
bro i can’t even remember how old i was when i played this. the age where you don’t know what you’re doing that’s for sure😂 i just remember getting to the room that had like an infinite amount of sumo cards lol
I used the play this game a lot as a kid, I don’t remember which monster I keep losing but I do remember keep getting killed by the robot that was very hard to pass
