Really Hope That Everybody is Watching the Weather News. The Storm already looks tremendous. 😮 I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and sending love from Germany
❤️ thank you
Thank you🙏🏻
@@kelseymarie1809 you are welcome stay safe ❤️ don’t underestimate the power of nature
@@lilygatschenberger8811 you are welcome 🙏
Trust me Germany, these storms are ALWAYS over-hyped by the US media
Helene makes it sound even scarier
Hell....any? 🤕🤕🤕
Sounds like a formidable woman lol
Hello Helene !
The nature and weather in Florida is absolutely Amazing !
So are the crazy drivers
This thing is humongous. Still getting bouts of heavy rain beating our homes and roads in the Caribbean. 🌊🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌬it's huge guys! Helene means business.🌬💨💨💨💨💨
Glad your safe & Fl here thanking you for the heads up 😊
Now see, I really like your presentation and your style. You explain this very well 👍🏾🙌🏿
I agree. Teaching well is a gift. You succinctly warn of approaching storm and then educate what creates and then drives that storm. A weather nerds dream and a resident's necessity. Thanks Teach!
Same
Remember Hurricane Ian was suppose to make land fall just north of Tampa and it made a hard right into Fort Myers Beach . And caught everyone by surprise. Be really careful what they tell you on here !
Exactly!
Learned this these past few years. Back in the day they use to be spot on. Now they never predict right
@@DiCcHeadENTI don’t know if you’re stupid or ignorant. Accuracy in predicting weather only increases with time. Even compared to 5 years ago, we are far better at predicting the path of hurricanes
Yea that didnt happen in minutes before it moved😂 it was days
It did not make a hard right, it was a gradual shift over days. Go back and watch the track.
massive storm
I like this guy!!!
Dave is great! No short skirts...no CFM pumps! Teehee
Yeah, Dave and Paul Delgado head up the meteorology team at Fox 13 Tampa. Very good weathermen.
Me too
Thank you so much. Was waiting to hear from you. I’m glad you popped up on my phone. Thank you.🥰💕 hope and pray we all will be OK.
Please stay safe 🙏🙏🙏🙏
GoodMorning Dave N ALL!!! 💙 🕊 ⚜ 🙏 🕯ThankYou 4Sharing!!! MuchLove
East coast of Florida here, are we all ready guys? 🥴
In ruskin and keeping an eye out.
May God protect all Florida's people 🙏
Nothing makes weather people happier than a major hurricane!
I remember Meteorologist Roy Leep with a glint in his eyes when a major storm would be approaching.
Good job. I like how this guy talks & describes stuff. Thx
"These models have not budged"
"Well, they've budged a little" ...
It’s going to be way more east then what they are showing watch
Thank goodness y😊u on u tube 🙏 thank so much for sharing
Would've been nice to hear about expected rain totals..
Great work 😢😊❤❤ hate this
Wasn't this the same pressure system, and pathway as Beryl?
There is no way that system will NOT reach CAT 4 status before landfall. The further north it slides over the Gulf, the deeper that pressure will drop. IF that monster falls to 925 mb or lower, brace yourself for another long clean up disaster.
Where it is projected to make landfall is in an area of swampy marsh and baron land with little residential areas except for around Perry FL.
Big # 1 OMG.NHS Trust 🇬🇧 🙏
Hello Helene !
I've noticed with these meteorologists when the storm is going to hit they sound excited. And then on other occasions when the storm is going to miss the area they actually sound disappointed. A friend of mine said it's because of ratings. They know that worried people are going to tune in.
Watching from st Petersburg FL 😢 really worried 😢
Thanks Dave ❤
You'll be fine. People in northern Florida should be the ones scared.
Be prepared because that cone will be a lot more east then what they are stating. They are just playing it safe. Mother Nature is unpredictable
All I know is my job better close tomorrow or else I’m fighting Helene in a coffee shop😭🤣
😂
And I in a clothing store. 😭
@@WanderingRoe how foul😭 please be safe❤️
The weatherman is a job that you can be wrong every day and still keep your job

So very glad I don't live in Florida or the gulf coast anymore.

Your a moron for putting you home address out there for everyone in the world to see.

I bet it will be a cat 5 hurricane
Why do you say that?😮
Very warm waters and no sheer. It's possible!
You got that kind of intuition too? Good luck. I'm 200 ft from the Alafia in riverview. In a trailer lol. Sending off the family tomorrow and making sure this place stays intact. If it won't, at least I can save our belongings.
Cat 7
@@mattdelany6799 they eat two cats now there 5cats
That is a monster. Dosnt really matter if it shifts, that just mean somewere elese gets it more.
Oh taking the dog out OMG in this storm
it is good to have alot water
Stay safe . In Cancun right now and the whole floor is flooded…. 😮😢and it’s happening since yesterday, the rain and thunder storm 🌩️ and lightning.
Riding out this monster in Dixie county.
Same here....should be interesting
And that's far enough from the coast that it's a giant "meh", especially if it keeps pushing west.
Got the beer on ice in Levy County ✌️
@@bbrcummins1984 hell yeah. We are just across the bridge, 5 cases on deck...
@@britt7583 yes, absolutely. We have plenty of beer and smoke for the event.
That cone is going to be way more east then what they are showing
Wow, it sure blew up overnight! I'm in N Central Florida and am watching with concern🫣😬
Why? I'm also in NC Florida and every year they get my hopes up (I love the storms) and every year it's weaker than our basic summer storm. We're inland....some gusts of wind and rain. Maybe some flooding if you live by a river or your city was oddly built in a flood zone. Otherwise, it's cause for basically zero concern.
I'm betting that Jim Cantore will be at the Big Bend area hanging onto a stop sign blowing in the wind,,,😅
You'd lose that bet because he's in new port Richey
Bbq anyone I have some cold beer
Chad Weatherman.
That's pretty much the same track Charlie and Ian were predicted to take until they didn't. I'm not going to believe it until I see it. Any movement to the right is going to be bad news.
Has a storm hit florida at all in years? Besides logical coastal flooding(so smart to live there) every storm turns into a rainy day after we spend hundreds on prep? Over it.
Yup exactly
It disappoints me every time. I love the storms, but I'm inland (NC Fl). It's been since 2004 since we got any real action. Every year, schools and businesses shut down for a day over a potential impact that ends up being weaker than our basic summer storms.
You live inland so you love watching the death and destruction that hurricanes bring to the coast? Yet you don't even pay attention because several areas in Florida are still rebuilding.
'Hurricane fatigue' they call it. I just pray, 'Please don't lose power, please don't lose power'.
Andrew, Francis, Charley, Irma, Michael, Idalia, Ian, Debby. Just off the top of my head. Just because it's not near you doesn't mean it has no impacts where it hits. Seen to many as a lifetime Floridian. Everyone should prepare and hope for the best. Mother nature shouldn't be taken lightly.
Today and tomorrow it's going to be a good day for ubereats.. doordash ext....
I feel like my flight at 9 am is cancelled
If it's 9am Thursday, it's canceled, or as good as canceled. Today or tomorrow, you're fine as far as the storm.
Use those sandbags
I wonder what darpa is trying to flood out?
🥰
I don't think so Tim 😕
This storm should be renamed MFer
My bet is it’s hits Louisiana and misses Florida altogether
???
Comrade Hillary and General Pi Ting doing their thing. 😂🎉😢😮😅😊❤
"The cone is just the track, it isn't the weather." Obfuscate much?
Not to self....don't but in the big bend area. Tha That's where they hit.
This meteorologist Dave Osterberg talked and danced more than the storm itself, he strained every word out with difficulty
Bet money u don't show up to work they write u up because they need u
Anyone talking about Germany doing weather modifications in the Caribbean. ? Just curious
Interesting please explain
Or provide a link
Why you?¿
This hurricane isn't accurate for it has seemed to move a little more West tiny bit but it's definitely a tiny bit more West
And when I check the regular forecast guess what on Friday for the entire day it'll be sunny from 7am meaning no rain it's gone from Florida
They said it would hit Wednesday night but it doesn't really look like the Case now it's Thursday evening but Thursday morning has rain anyway a little bit on and off
Nothing is really accurate
But if I'm correct it'll be quick and it'll be gone by the time you wake up
The only day you would have to start staying inside is Thursday
Because Friday looks like everything will be sunny and everyone is back to work or school
Wednesday is possible it'll rain like at 4pm but a 40% chance
so unlikely at the moment
So for the morning it'll be dry and cloudy and maybe afternoon
Evening and night rain most likely IDK if that's the hurricane but yeah
And while we're asleep until I guess 6am-7am it'll rain but Thursday morning stop on and off
Before coming back Thursday afternoon for the real hurricane
So yeah IDK honestly
There's a lot of on and off weather today and tomorrow
But Friday is a sunny day
I don't think it'll be much, but you're a fool to babble on about percentages of rain and sun. It's Florida, those are never accurate on an average die. I can check 4 apps and it'll say 0% chance of rain while it's raining over my house. The only accurate prediction in Florida is to look out the damn window and see what's happening.
Going to be another nothing burger in Tampa Bay.
Tell that to the Gulf Beaches and Shore Acres........
Hey Buckwheat, if I hear that phrase "So, understand that" one more time, I'm gonna come down there and put it where the sun don't shine! Capiche?
That's gay
Once again, Ladies and gents, We present Squeaky squatting Dave Osterberg and his incessant OVER- ANNUNCIATION OF EVERY SINGLE WORD.
He is so grotesque. If I, as a woman, need protection, I gladly choose my .357 over Trump, every....single...time...
Vote Blue! 💙💙💙
Another disappointment. I love the storms, but am in NC Florida. It'll keep pushing west and I'll get weather that's less than some our basic summer storms. It's always a letdown; been 20 years since we've had any real storm hit the Gainesville area. But look at these pathetic comments, everyone across Florida thinks their area will be devastated or how worried they are. They have to be transplants or worry warts to freak out over their inland county being skirted by this storm as it goes up the coast. FFS.
Such a ridiculous comment. People die, but you love it.
It’s definitely not pushing west bud. It’ll be pushing more east than any other direction.
@@xxPhoenixX-sg9tr I hope so, but everything I've seen would indicate it's not going east. There's another video that thoroughly shows an impending impact with a system coming from the NW where they'll join in Georgia. The paths/breakdown is easily the most thorough I've seen. The reality though is no predictions on these storms are guaranteed. Hurricanes are like basic Florida weather. The only accurate forecast is the one that's happening that very minute.
could all USA citizens.....talk to Donald Trump...to wear skirt.....while Kamala Harris wearing pants...
Harris... LOL!!!
This sucks!!!!!
Welcome to Florida!
Actually it blows!!!
The rain bans are already hitting
Us in Indian River Co.
That storm looks like a baby in the womb. Just saying
this is the end to tampa bay and St pete
Doubtful,
Drama queen much? First, Tampa could use a good cleansing...dirty port city. Second, unless it makes a dramatic right hook, it'll get low TS winds and storm surge. Nothing devastating about it. Grow some balls.
@@Swearengen1980 water will be there problem storm surge
@@Swearengen1980going to go more east then what they are saying and showing. We won’t get a direct hit like the big bend but definitely will be bad in pinellas county
@@richardnone5644 And a little storm surge isn't the end of a city. It is for very stupid individuals who stand on the beach and wait for it to wipe them out. Seen cities a few feet underwater plenty of times, not a big deal. As a kid, my great grandfathers house would 6' underwater, tiny little 100+ year old frame house, for weeks at a time living by a river that flooded. Concrete and brick Tampa will be just fine. Water damage, sure. Ybor has endured hurricanes for quite a long time. I don't know if you people live in dramatical fear or are just ignorant.
Clearwater is waiting and watching 👀
Polk county looks like it will get direct hit
Not sure you know what "direct hit" means. An inland county getting skirted by is not a direct hit. I've been camping in Polk County in the winter that got worse weather than this will likely bring to Polk. Everyone in Florida acts like their spit of land is going to be ravaged and all you'll really get is some rain and downed limbs. Drama queens, the lot of you.
