Thank you for this fascinating introduction to the MacLean Collection and collecting Asian art. It certainly behooves many more Americans to appreciate China's long history of art.
Give them back. They belong in museums in China, not in the hands of overseas private collectors. Even if you bought them from an art dealer, they probably bought them from someone else who bought them from someone else who looted them. Looting is a serious problem and it's because of demand by overseas collectors that drives this illegal industry. STOP BUYING LOOTED GOODS. These are national treasures and should not be sold to private collectors. Are you going to deprive Chinese children of the opportunity to see their own country's historical artefacts? Shame on you! STOP TAKING THINGS THAT DON'T BELONG TO YOU.
It is common for some authentic items to be refused by major auction houses. Often regional houses will accept them, and the prices can occasionally do surprisingly well

The monotonous corporate music spoils the video.
We have "Mongolian" chess pieces of the 12th century, in the amount of 5 pieces. We were refused by the Russian community of Sotheby's.
