This is the show that the number one neck got broke by a falling scaffolding. Shortly after stevie died.... it's like something knew he was about to die and Chris Layton said in an interview once on the topic of the night of alpine valley when stevie talked to chris for the last time chris said "it was like after that show everything was peaceful, usually after shows of that magnitude they're quite chaotic. It was a really nice conversation but stevie said " he had to go back to Chicago to call his wife" but I told him he could just use the phone here. Stevie insisted that he take this flight back to Chicago and I got this weird feeling that something was off..." it's weird how chris kinda knew something was off. The last thing stevie said to chris was "I love you" but when he said it it was really peaceful but a gut wrenching feeling that something bad was going to happen. You can watch this interview on youtube and hear all about chris, tommy and Chris's dream (visitation) from stevie. Just type in "Double Trouble interviews" and it will be a low quality picture of tommy shannon as the cover photo.
Awesome! Back then, recording at a concert wasn’t that easy. We are fortunate to have this. Thanks for posting.
