I’ve done this since my first run through and I’m honestly surprised people didn’t know this. Do people really not figure out to look around for another hole when they kept dying?
What's more frustrating for me was that in my 1st play through, I found THE route to underground by just stumbling onto it. But on my 2nd play through I couldn't find it. So frustrating 😤😤😤
That happened to me,since my first playthrough i was lost all the time,and somehow had both part of medalion for Altus. And ofc next play i step into elevator and nothing,God damn what now... xD
I died once my first play through in the giant hole n instantly knew there was another way down 😂 I thought everyone knew cuz I rarely see blood stains at that spot lol
I guess this is helpful for people who havent figured it out, but the game is absolutely filled with stuff like this, you see a way try it and die, find another way, keep going. Thats how elden ring works.
Dying I’m used to…but there is a talisman or an incantation halfway down the hole…If you go left I’m not sure you get it…I’m so used to going down the hole I’m pretty good at it now lol
That’s how you know Elden Ring is full of casuals 😂 in every souls game there’s a simpler way of going about things you just have to have the patience and sense for exploration as Miyazaki intented. It’s like a big convoluted puzzle even the lore is that way lol

I have died to that fall more than i have collectively died to rellana, messmer, and gaius all together i hate that i havent found this out till now
First three ng+ attempts I couldn’t get to the Rune Bear boss cause I had no idea how to get to the river 😂
