The Aiki Dojo 2 Minute Technique - Kaiten-nage
Santiago Almaraz Sensei, Aikido 5th Dan demonstrates the basics of Kaiten-nage (回転投げ) or “wheel throw.” The word kaiten can be translated as “rotary” or “wheel” which indicates that in this case the arm is moving in a rotational manner in order to achieve the throw. Almaraz Sensei discusses the basics of kaiten-nage and demonstrates its use from different attacks.
